This song is so beautifully cut. The more I listen the more I love it. We hear of her beauty all through, but her soul shines through in the last line. A joy!

My grandfather's parents had a dairy in Johnstone, Renfrewshire, and he went about in a horse and cart delivering milk. He wooed my grandmother by giving her cream. Thank goodness for that, or I wouldn't be here! He loved this song!

My mum was in the land army and my dad worked on the Polnoon farm. We spent happy years there around 1952 . Rosemary Hamilton
