It is best to take the dry ice out before you drink it, or make sure the dry ice is completely gone before hand.

You can see liquid carbon dioxide if you put dry ice in a container with a lid and close it put it in a bowl of hot water you can see liquid carbon dioxide but stand back because it will eventually explode.

For Christmas last year my wife and kids gave me several Steve Spangler science kits. One of them was the Boo Bubbles Jar. I loved it right a way, and I've used it over and over. However--Cautionary tale here-- DO NOT use hot water from your commercial coffee maker in the Boo Bubble jar. I did, and was able to demonstrate melting plastic to the kids. It was the funniest thing! I didn't notice the jar was melting (even with lumps of dry ice in it) until I was half way through the demo.

I have a nice idea for a fog genorator. What you need: 1. conatiner 2. PC Fan 3 water and dry ice 4 some hose fiiting and a small tube Put the PC Fan on the container lid, then fill the container with water and dry ice. then make a hole on the side of the bottle and put the tube in it. Turn on the fan and fog is pumped out!

I love the videos and the funny thing is i did this yesterday in class and my science teacher said the even if you try to put food dye or coloring in there it wont do anything because the dye is heavier than the carbon dye-oxide or something like that and at 5:22 you say that you can change the color of the smoke and I want to do this experiment with my friends for a party and i want to know if you can or cant change the color of the smoke please respond
@DragonXero

Probably a bit too dangerous and inaccessible for most people, but for someone with credentials, a chunk of change, scientific curiosity, and a desire to make something interesting happen, perhaps the introduction of some liquid nitrogen under the cylinder with the bubbles dropping down could freeze the soap bubbles quickly enough to solidify them as spheres. Just a thought!

Steve, At Halloween I want to walk with all fog and smoke coming out of my shirt (like dry ice under shirt) but if i have dry ice and water under my shirt i might spill water on the ground while walking or running... Can you show a way how to make it like you're a ghost and smoke is coming out of your shirt/pants? Thumbs up so Steve can see
