At minute 12:22, while France is voting in favor of the establishment of a Jewish state, a burst of applause occurred. A significant signal for the Assembly General of France of today who are favoring an establishment of a free Arab state in Palestine. Always remember that Palestinians refused to accept this UN resolution till our days!

The League of Nations transferred almost all its functions to the UN, established on October 24, 1945. As the International Court of Justice decided, the mandates did not end with the disappearance of the League of Nations. The the Mandate for Palestine has created an international status - "valid in rem", which is effective against the whole world, defining the boundaries of the mandate's territory as a national home of the Jewish people, with the guarantee of the rights of the non-Jewish population as a protected minority in the Jewish state. This status and these rights were preserved even after the end of the existence of the League of Nations. Despite the fact that Resolution 181 is not existing, certain bodies continue to promote this proposal as a supposedly recognized partition plan. This interpretation is erroneous on several levels. First, paragraphs 10 and 14 of the UN Charter clearly indicate that the General Assembly can only issue non-binding recommendations. Secondly, as the name of recommendation 181 ("the plan for partition with the economic union") indicates the section is only one part of a long decision, detailed and detailed, based on broad economic cooperation, coexistence, and peace. Thirdly, the adoption of the resolution 181 by Jews in 1947 presupposed Arab agreement with this plan. It is therefore ridiculous to say that the section that talks about partition in that resolution is still on the table and that the agreement of 1947 is perceived as continuing to this day. It can now be made known that at the great pow wow of the glorious Iroquois leaders that took place on Feb 30th 2013 somewhere in Brooklyn New York from Dec 32nd 2013 what is known as the state of New York will return to Iroquois control: its natural condition for approx. 4000 years. The Mayor of New York and the Jewish community therein agreed to move to either Florida or Israel. Rejoice: great injustice has been resolved May peace and harmony reign. God bless America

British still wanted to control mideast indirectly. They brought this to the UN to try and get them to vote down jewish independence. It totally backfired and the majority voted for Israel's independence in at least part of its ancient patrimony.

One day after the UN vote to partition Palestine, Menachem Begin, the commander of the Irgun and Israel's future Prime Minister between 1977-1983, proclaimed: "The Partition of Palestine is illegal. It will never be recognized .... Jerusalem was and will for ever be our capital. Eretz Israel will be restored to the people of Israel. All of it. And for Ever." (Iron Wall p. 25) Begin was right and the other Zionists have, at that point, completely forgotten that a UN partition plan is 'illegal' - against international law - because it is in breach of earlier existing agreements! Those Zionists forgot that the Mandate for Palestine (1923) is a binding international agreement signed by all members of the League of Nations (including former occupier Turkey). Indeed an international agreement that is, as long as there is no new agreement in force, valid up to this very day! The 1947 UN partition plan (resolution 181) was merely a proposal - not a binding agreement. Because the Arabs rejected that plan, its borders (as well as the plan itself) became meaningless. People must realize and understand that it was/is in fact 'illegal'.

When the League of Nations gave its’ blessing to Britain to maintain it’s occupation of Palestine as a ‘Mandate’ (1922), Britain was authorized to implement the Balfour Declaration, which promised the Zionist Organization a “national home” in Palestine for Jews, but only on the condition ”that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine”. How could the U.N. have authorized a “Jewish state” in all of Palestine in 1947 without impinging on the “rights of existing non-Jewish communities ” (Arabs) who at the time represented 2/3 the population of the Mandate?
