Louisville Gardens has hosted about a thousand professional wrestling events, including weekly shows in the 1970's and 80's. Jim Cornette has a book about it, Tuesday Night at the Gardens. Some videos on famous wrestling venues would be interesting. Besides the large arenas and stadiums that have held Wrestlemania and other big WWE events, most cities had an arena like Louisville Gardens. Before 1990, wrestling was all regional promotions ('territories; think college conferences versus the NFL), and many of them would have a regular touring schedule, running some cities monthly or even weekly. You could pick venues by region, by state, by promotion, by longevity, etc. That's enough content to keep you going for years.
