Its time for a new game system! In this video, I outline the start of our projects for Warlords of Erehwon by Rick Priestley and Warlord Games. The challenge is to each complete a 1000 point army as economically as possible rather than just go out and purchase a whole new army in its entirety. The reason for this is that Warlords of Erehwon is a very open rule set with no set figure range that you must purchase in order to play the game. This means that you are free to source your miniatures from a whole host of different ranges and manufacturers to create a unique and individual warband. I think I much prefer this approach rather than just procure an army of set figures.
In the video, I outline how the basis of my Knight warband will be based around my old Warhammer Fantasy Battle Empire army that I haven't used since about 1998. This has provided me with enough figures to complete pretty much five units. I'm really looking forward to breathing new life into a bunch of figures that I haven't used for close to 20 years. This is the first in a series of videos about Warlords of Erehwon so be sure to check out other future videos as I set about creating my new warband.
If you play Warlords of Erehwon or are currently building armies for it, I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts and opinions on the game thus far.
