Considering what's happening at universities I'd say that trusting them would be a disaster.

In WWII the majority of Americans hadn't completed HS. Currently the majority have attended College. Now it is possible that some exponential growth in human intellect occurred in under a century. I prefer to acknowledge University for what it is. A place to send mediocre minds who are good at following orders. And certify them for insignificant employment.

Lending money we don't have to people who will never repay it so they can train for jobs that no longer exist, paraphrasing Mike Rowe.

For an organization fighting against orthodoxy, this looks like a bunch of people talking to each other (when what is needed is to connect with and make sense to people who AREN'T into HxA). I support this. But, in this day and age, you gotta bring up your KZitem game, HxA.

It is literally them talking to each other, because it's a state of the university address. Most of their content is interviews and panels of people who are being silenced and/or cancelled by traditional universities.

What are your suggestions for them to do that? To not talk to each other in a conference room. How should they connect? Operationalize your suggestion please.

@@FQR74 Academics trying to impress other academics created a crisis of trust. They need to learn to communicate with the public and serve their interest.
