Hey Luke! I was wondering what you’re currently using as your daily? We are similar builds and I cannot stand my Aeron anymore. Previously had the Embody and that was a dud too. Have you found your endgame chair for big dudes like us?

Thanks for the input. I really was hoping the Embody would be a good fit for somebody our size. I ended up with a Steelcase Leap with headrest. I really like it, but after a year the seat cushion is less than comfortable. check out this vid when I first got it: kzitem.info/news/bejne/rp2b1Iysj5SfZmksi=2G0M6YgejJbdy5TL

@@lukebrutal78 thanks for the reply! Yeah, it’s a shame about the Embody. I wasn’t a fan of the armrests, the back of the chair was digging into my shoulder blades, and the seat ran warm in the humid climate I live. Sorry to hear about the Leap, I’ve seen Crandall sells a version of the chair with a thicker seat that might help? My biggest concern personally is the seat depth and my legs hanging off too much but from the video you shared it looks like the seat depth isn’t too bad.

Did you still keep the leap V2?

I sure did! I am very happy with it thus far. But my chair reviews aren’t over yet! Stay tuned for more details in the near future!

That looks like a comfortable chair to sit in for 3 minutes before it cuts the circulation in your legs

It wasn't that bad really. You actually float and the plastic is a moldable rubber material that is quite pleasant to clothed skin. I am hairy and don't like mesh or rubber snagging my curlies and whatnot. I was just a bit too big to find this chair ideal for a daily driver. But I do love the design and I will purchase one for my house in the future. Thanks for your input!

99.99% of all modern chairs are GARBAGE... i dont know why designs them or who they are designed for, but they all have FORM (Visual Design) being the main aspect and the actual FUNCTION being an afterthought... i honestly dont give a shit how a chair looks like if it performs flawlessly... its like the same thing about a mattress... do you really care what the mattress looks like ??? NO... you care that the mattress is right for you. And with chairs its actually not that difficult to have a chair designed to fit people based on their body type give the set of correct params like: - height - weight - waistline The problem is that the CHAIR industry today does NOT have the goal of providing a FUNCTIONAL AND QUALITY product that maximizes utility and comfort... what they do is design a chair that is made of the CHEAPEST possible materials and is easily mass manufactured....thats it... what they do then is make it look elaborate and comes up with all sorts of gimmicks and bullshit. Honestly thinking of getting some engineers together and create a new company that is simply going to make amazing chairs for people who sit on their ass all day long doing work...

Preach Brother Preach! We are in a world of profit and greed. These chairs are amazingly low quality for the prices they charge. My wife said I should design a chair and market it. I joked and said yeah, "I wouldn't make any money though because I want to make a quality product at reasonable price" That isn't the way it works though. I would be getting the same crap out of China that every other company uses for parts. It's sad really.
