For anyone who lived through the WWE vs WCW Monday Night television era as a fan, the thought of the nWo in the WWE was almost like a dream come true. Here you have the nWo, at one point, were one of the most popular things in the world of professional wrestling.
The nWo, like it or not, was extremely effective in swaying the ratings in favor of WCW. So when Vince McMahon acquired WCW and it's trademarks, the prospect of the nWo coming to the WWF was very exciting, even after WCW had run the faction into the ground. In the WWF, the nWo would maybe have a chance to reset and restablish themselves as a force in pro wrestling once again. the question is, were they at all sucessful? With members like Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, X-Pac and The Big Show, how could it fail?
