Why don't you talk about early television before cable, VCR's and the like. You had two shots at seeing your TV show. The original show, then 26 weeks later as a rerun. If you missed it, YOU MISSED IT! You'd have to wait for years for the show to enter syndication before they'd air the episodes again. That's why television was such a thing back then, and why you had to watch the shows as they aired. Truthfully, digital tech these days with video on demand would have been a crazy idea back then...

Intercutting with the 'modern' references is completely unnecessary---as well as not funny. That's the greatest problem---(whoever put this together) your attempts at humor are thinly disguised insults. I came to hear some well put together information about a beloved iconic show, not idiotic snarkiness that includes the likes of Vile rock groups. I feel sorry for the narrator who has to deliver this cringe-worthy "script". I watched Mr. Ed in real time not because I particularly liked it, but because there were few choices in those days and it probably came on before or after something else that I wanted to watch and was the right channel so I didn't have to adjust the rabbit ears. Since we raised horses I couldn't really relate to one being in a sitcom. Also, based on that history, I can tell you that somewhere out there was probably an underage and underpaid studio employee who had to deal with the aftermath of twenty pounds of hay being consumed every day.
