Samukawa Shrine, known as Sagami Province Ichinomiya, is a shrine with a history of about 1,600 years as Japan's only guardian deity of Happoyoke.
It is also located at the intersection of the Goraiko no Michi, one of the longest and most famous ley lines in Japan.
The Goraiko no Michi is a line that starts from Tamasaki Shrine (Chiba Prefecture) and connects Samukawa Shrine (Kanagawa Prefecture), the summit of Mt. Fuji, Chikubu Island, Motoise, and Izumo Taisha Shrine (Shimane Prefecture).
