So instead of sending it, I went to that Post Office. I got the Clerk, who probably knew it was a Scam, to give me the Name and Address of the PO Box Owner. So I went to the Address and knocked on the door. A guy in his 20s answered and asked him about the name. He asked why, so I told him. He laughed and called for that person. Then to my Surprise, a 13 year old boy came to the door. When I told him about his add, he was really scared. I think he thought I'm mad that it didn't work. When I never paid. One good reason people should learn to properly read and write the one and only language they know!! I’m a senior and the very instant I read _here_ instead of _hear_ 👂 I *knew* this wasn’t sent by UPS.

Idea for video: in-person scams. These are still happening. The elderly can be vulnerable potential victims of these scams. Here is an instance of one of my personal experiences: guy knocks on my door and says he's collecting money for a very well-known known and established charity. In this instance, guy could be legit, but I suspect could be a scammer. However, if a scam, it's labor intensive and high risk for the scammer: 1) he has to physically go door to door and that takes time, 2) not everyone will answer the door for someone they don't know, and 3) I got a good look at this guy and engaged him in conversation, so I could easily identify him to any law enforcement agency.

You should stop giving folks money bc of every sob story they tell you. And how did you fall for bad spelling & grammar when they emailed you about usps boxes? The US post office isn’t even that efficient anyway!

He didn't fall for that, the only thing he actually did was giving his phone number, but he knew it wasn't true, he just kept going and responding because that's what he does on this channel hahah. The part where he got scammed is when the boy called months later

He paid 20 dollars upfront to get the kid to drop the Apple ID scam act and tell him how the "scam" worked, then 80 dollars for the list of bogus numbers.

So in the UK there is a company called CEX which deal with used phones and PC parts. Their customer service ONLY can be reached by email. The company has no publicly available phone number. They have a quiet a few stores around the country, but you cannot call any of them as their number only operate internally. So yeah, there are companies that only operate their customer services through emails.

Videos from this channel started showing up in my home feed. I watched them and kept watching because it was entertaining storytelling. I saw the video where Brian "decided to give up the scam" and kept thinking the story didn't add up. How does he get access to his bosses computer if they lock him in a room. I checked the comments in the video to see if anyone else questioned what the kid said vs the messages he sent. Eventually got led to this video. Not sure if this entire arc was developed as part of the channel, or if you actually did fall for a scam, but i am thoroughly entertained. I'll binge this channel for a bit longer 😂😂😂

Plot twist: This 15 year old kid got scammed later, learned the Spider-man lesson and used his technical skills to catch scammers under the name Jim Browning and disguised his voice with an Irish accent (we already know he's great with accents) to hide his secret identity.
