Noticed how this movie may of been low-key inspired off of the 237 bath tub scene in The Shining

Just saw this movie, and oh my its been a while since a movie literally left me speechless at the end and shocked as I did not see it coming. Overall, this is an excellent movie with such a powerful message to women. We all need to embrace our inner and outer beauty no matter the age. Loving yourself at all times throughout your life is so important. Demi Moore should get an oscar for this performance, it was truly exceptional. This movie was so powerful and raw, that it will be remembered for a long time. I hope it inspires women across the globe to truly love themselves for who they are and be proud of all life’s accomplishments. Plastic surgery or any type of “substance” isn’t always the better choice. The grass is rarely greener on the other side, and this movie portrays that so well.

My boyfriend and I watched this last night and had a blast! We walked out of the theater and the first thing he said was, “Anne Hathaway could NEVER!” 😂

❤ Wackadoo, sleazy and weird! Loved it! Some are comparing it to the “Ozempic” craze in Hollywood. The extremes people go to injecting anything new for what they perceive as beauty. Body Horror cinema at its finest. The closeup’s of Dennis Quaid hideous appearance mansplaining to Demi about ageism. 🤮

It could be the recency bias talking but this may be my favorite film of the year. I need more films that turn me on, immediately make me feel terrible about it and then say "we're cool bro" with a third act that made me cry laughing.

I’m already predicting that this will end up being my favourite film of ‘24… and I’ve watched a lot of films this yr, with at least 3 big ones still to go. Personally I think it’s a future cult classic. Entertaining right up to the end credits.

There are so many body horror movies that are way ahead of their time that I have not checked out yet. My five recommendations of overlooked body horror movies: 1. Titane (2021) 2. Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989) 3. Videodrome (David Cronenberg’s hidden gem) 4. Slither (peak James Gunn classic) 5. RAW (2016)

Technically very good film, the scores, the cinematography is excellent. Dare I say the best for a horror movie I've ever seen. A plus acting - oscar worthy, the birthing scene with the eye shot is insane. The story was great insight to the female experiece and they told it out without much dialogue! And when Sue kicked Liz across the room was hilarious and don't get me started on the ending, terrifying sad 😭

This movie was ridiculous as The Toxic Avenger. How come all horror movies are more comedy than horror to me. I have yet to watch one that doesn't leave me feeling like i just wasted an hour & a half to 2 hours of my life.

Well this movie was 1000% satirical with dark comedy elements, so you aren’t wrong here.
