I have a question. I currently live in the Calhoun area and I'm trying to find radio frequencies that are close to my house. there's a KCs track that runs about a mile behind my house and I want to start listening to the sheds at the railroad crossings. do you happen to know what those frequencies are or what subdivision it is?

Look up Louisiana Railroad frequencies and you'll find a list. Calhoun is under the Vicksburg sub or Meridian Speedway.

Thank you for the video. I was an operator on the Sue Line from 1984 to 1986. Each person who operated at that time brought a skill to the layout. Mine was electronics and I installed the first telephone system installed. We were bare bones back then Switch lists were generated on an Apple IIe. About that time the first rule book was created. I wish I had a copy of that now for the memories it generated. You mentioned the second floor expansion. We stripped the roof off of the original building one weekend day. As most of the members left, only three of us remained. We were just sitting and chatting when terrible thunderstorm struck with very heavy rainfall. We were trying to get tarps and plastic over the layout to prevent further damage through the night. Finally around 2am we covered everything we could but there was some damage. As thanks, he allowed me to design a small area of the layout and it was named Keithville after Keith Guiterrez and myself, not the real Keithville south of Shreveport (and that's our story and we are sticking to it). Andy Sperandeo, editor of Model Railroader Magazine, photographed a spread for the magazine around Christmas 1985. It was published in 1986 about the time I moved away to Florida. I assisted since I was on vacation and wanted to sharpen my skills at photography. It turned out his aunt was married to my uncle. The model railroading community encompasses a group of dedicated and motivated members. We are all family when it comes to the hobby. The passing of Doctor Kamm impacted me since he was "family"....thank you Richard, you inspired and enriched your friends significantly. We will miss you.

In the early 90's,I was a regular visitor to the layout. One of my contributions was ID cards, for the Sue line Operators. Dr. Kamm once told me about using his, while at the NMRA Meeting in Atlanta Georgia, seams he was wearing it, and was able to move about freely as I had made them so realistic.

This was the very first layout I ever had the opportunity to operate on, sometime around 2005. I can remember as we drove there not sure what to expect; it was not a disappointment and well worth going.

Beautiful layout, only complaint is the American flag on the silo is painted wrong. The blue field needs to cover the red line below it. Just need to remember red, white, blue. Not white, red, blue like it is painted.

I chose not to use a tripod to stay out of the way of the operators during the session. Granted, I could've used it in the footage I took before the session began but it's a little late now haha! Appreciate the input.
