That’s an interesting thing to say. I don’t particularly care about petty drama; I take issue with your approach to this. At the beginning of the video, you encourage the viewers to be open-minded and not point fingers at one party or the other (which is a good thing). But ultimately you seem to hang Haddix out to dry and then post this comment on the video telling people to play nice when you clearly have a bias yourself? (My voice is going up in pitch and my head has tilted all the way around). It strikes me as the very thing you accused Haddix of: being pretty passive-aggressive. I love your content, but to be blunt, this sounds like content farming on something that really isn’t a big deal. Two players can’t team together because of personality differences… so what? It’s early days Smite 2; this is bound to happen. Don’t see why this is news-worthy.

I'm personally not a fan of either guy, but watching that VOD I don't see how this isn't pretty much all on Haddix. Dude is trying to "deescalate" by talking to ElLeon like a kid, asking him if he needs to take a breather and at the same time keeps saying there needs to be accountability while refusing to acknowledge that he misplayed pretty badly himself. And he only made it worse by tripling down on it in a later stream where he was giving his side of the story, where he just kept talking shit about Leon and not taking any accountability. That being said... I don't see why this is such a major situation. Teams aren't under contract or anything, it's an open tournament, no roster locks, no anything... Why do we care? They're probably not the only roster that made changes, and there will likely be more before Vegas. Young adults bickering and being immature shouldn't be this much of a big deal.

Didn't know who either of them were before watching videos on the drama, so if you want a unbiased take then look no further. There were lots of issues leading up to the sloppy FG fight. Haddix never should have sundered when he did, period. Elleon could have walled the Ama at FG for better chance at secure. Elleon could/should have bombed. Haddix did not play the FG fight properly. That being said, the aforementioned issues aren't even the real issue here. After watching both videos put out by them, it's clear that Haddix had it out for Elleon before this game even started. Aside from that, Haddix took zero accountability for his misplay and tried to lay 100% of the blame on Elleon. Do I think Elleon shoulders the most blame in this FG debacle? Yes. Does he shoulder all of it? Absolutely not. The real issue, in my opinion, is Haddix was just looking for any reason to get rid of Elleon and this was just him taking the opportunity when it presented itself. Not only did he not take any responsibility but he lied previously about Elleon, secretly tried to get him off the team behind Elleon's back and during the aftermath he was extremely disrespectful, making comments like "do you need a breather, bro" several times. Haddix's video was also very deceptive in what he decided to show which is cleared up if you watch Elleon's video which shows much more context. Furthermore, Haddix went on to misrepresent Elleon's comments about certain things to make it look like he wasn't dedicated and that he didn't know the game's basic mechanics. At the end of the day, it's an alpha and scrims are for learning. Haddix's behavior is totally childish and I can't understand how anyone could take Haddix's side after watching both videos. Haddix comes off as a total narcissist. Elleon showed a lot of restraint immediately after the game, given prior circumstances and how Haddix was speaking so disrespectfully towards him. Haddix needs to grow up, period.

I disagree with your statement “Do I think Elleon shoulders the most blame in this FG debacle? Yes.” because elleon is trying to secure it with sunder. Why did everyone emphasize support and solo lane to buy sunder? To secure objectives. So if we’re wasting sunder on enemy gods, then you’re literally giving up objective secure by leaving it up to a 50/50 since only Elleon had sunder at that point. Now, the bombs add an interesting dilemma to this debate as both of them had bombs and neither attempted to use them. And neither of them brought it in the post game debate. Both are to blame for not using their bombs, Haddix is to blame for wasting sunder, which has clearly been made important for the sole purpose of objectives, Haddix a shit attitude towards Elleon, whereas Elleon wasn’t being shitty with Haddix. In the end, Elleon is not primarily to blame for losing FG.

Pre thoughts before watching, I think both sides actually have valid viewpoints when taking into account each of their own biased perspectives. I think the entire sunder thing boils down to horrible communication (so many areas where multiple people/things could have de-escalated it) and it isnt even relevant to the removal. Haddix seems to just not want to team with Elleon and i think thats kind of enough for him personally to not play with him, if the team decided theyd rather have haddix then i dont really see any fault. Haddix seemed hesitatnt to accept he was at fault in the vod of the actual scrim and the taking a break thing i think comes down to naivety (as in i dont think he meant it to instigate anything), but i can kind of see how he saw elleon as confrontational ans whatever else he said. On the other hand i feel he was reading into it a bit too much? subconciously maybe because he already was bias against teaming anyways. For elleon its obvious this is a frustrating position to be put in, and of course its not his fault for losing a 50/50 and it seemed to me he didnt properly hear that haddix didnt have sunder, and to me it seems asking to double sunder was more of a 'next time we will do this' thing rather than confrontational like haddix thought. Haddix is kind of hypocritical (about taking responsibility) but to me it seemed he said that in reference to elleon on the losing 50/50, which to him from his perspective was being avoided being talked about as elleons mistake, whereas his main mistake was using sunder in the fight before fire. i say kind of hypocritical because haddix does admit they should have had 2 sunders and he should have held it for fire if the plan was double sunder. Idk, i dont think the situation is really that black or white. Im 50/50 on it Edit: after watching this vid and elleon's, i think this is more of a 65/35 in favour of elleon. I think elleon is in good faith when asking about double sunder and watching a vod. Haddix to me is overracting due to a misunderstanding (the clash of personalities here?), haddix sees what elleon was saying as an attack/confrontation/blaming (even if it isnt, which i dont think it was really). I like to attribute idiocy instead of malice, so i am assuming haddix isnt literally just fishing for reasons to kick elleon (surely i dont like him would be enough to kick or quit?idk) but from elleons perspective it does seem like some malice is there, i personally dont think the taking a breather question is that deep, but i can see why elleon would be like wtf after hearing it. I think haddix being so quick to kick (and clearly not communicating testing out jake, or communicating elleons commitment to smite) is a real problem though. Haddix to me is being quite silly in this situation whereas elleon has a few faults that arent all that major. so like 70/30 or 65/35 tom me seems good as long as haddix isnt striaght up just being a hater.

But haddix is 100% blaming Elleon on the play, but had ZERO timers and no Hog. And he was playing Susano solo instead of playing a real solo lane god. play the right god and mechanics will solve themselves

@@dancingbabybins He was playing bacchus no? anyway that doesnt matter. I dont think hes fully blaming him on the play, maybe im missing it, because he does say the fight could have gone better in many ways. I mean except for saying he could have done Hog better to win 50/50 (which is harsh for sure) i thinm the turmoil is from the talk about the play and not the play itself. I have watched hayzers vid and elleons vid and i am more on the side of elleon like 65/35 as i think he is definetly in good faith. Haddix seems to be ovveracting because of him misunderstanding elleons position on the matter.

Ive yet to see someone side with Haddix on this, I dont like either of them particularly, I find myself a fan of teams rather than individuals. Leon is probably in the right, as much as one can be in this situation, however the lack of strong solo lane options probably lead to the team decision. Regardless if you think Ronny is better than Leon (Ronny is close to GOAT contender), theres probably no solo lanes available even close to Haddix in terms of ability, look at Cherry playing Solo for MMMMM and Fineo's team having both him and Baskin on one roster, the pool is not so deep. At the end of the day, if Leon sticks it out in Smite2, I would like to see him on a strong roster to see what they could do

I am subbed to both. Haddix is clearly in the wrong, and im glad the community sees it. The drama is foolishness to begin with, but this is what happens when someone hasn't gotten the proper backlash or discipline. Haddix, for as good as he is. Has a temperment issue. He acted like a child, and that's sad to see. Hopefully, only good comes out of this.

Imagine saying people need to take accountability and then saying wasting your sunder was not the end of the world. 💀 Hypocrisy, gaslighting, and 0 accountability on his part. And im not even a Andy shill, Haddix is just manipulative for this & giving the team an ultimatum.

OK Hayzer you say you don't want drama in the comments but you put the pub quiz update at the end of the video. I can't believe you SMH. Also my pub quiz was cancelled this week but it meant we went to my mates and I got to see his girlfriends new cat, so I think that's a win in my book. (also we won £160 in play your cards right the previous week, so couple of bangers for us)

Bro y’all gotta stop. Smite comp scene has looked like an absolute fucking joke since the roster BS started in S7. A bunch of immature, unprofessional, and unsupervised kids going on ego trips every 30 seconds. Im so sick of it

Exactly that. And it's mostly high rez fault for not imposing certain standards to actually create a scene where orgs would actually invest.

No actual orgs this is what you get.. Pretty much why smite is looked at as a friends league more than an actual pro league where the best players are represented. This is what 10+ years of enabling created

El Leon was trying to be productive. He made a call. Haddix had a more than reasonable window of time to respond to the call and inform El Leon that his Sunder was down and a double Sunder wasn't available. El Leon was trying to figure out what went wrong, why, how to fix it. Haddix then proceeds to blow something minor into a huge deal and then act like El Leon was the problem when Haddix is literally just not being a team player. Not talking, not cooperating. If anyone here isn't taking Smite pro league seriously it's Haddix. "clash of personalities" is an understatement. It seems more like if Haddix for some reason doesn't like you he will drama queen the team to death.
