This is eye opening to say the least, and it confirms my suspicions of get rich if you do this or do that. In essence, investing is more like giving up time and life in order for the world to know about you. And if someone thinks for a second that 100 billion dollars is more precious than your time, for me is a fool. Best video so far, keeps things real.

HI. I guess you refer to the story of Warren Buffett. Indeed, there are different ways to secure your financial freedom. As you say, it does not make sense to do it to the detriment of your time and life. That's why I tend to value passive investing. Still, I enjoy spending a small amount of time and money on active investing, for educational and intellectual purposes. All the best.

@@SweatYourAssets Indeed, I was thinking of Buffett. Everyone must determine how much is enough, and after that maybe spend more than before. Active investing is what made me do only passive investing, but yes, we are all free to play on the piano called stock market.

I disagree. Your configuration is not optimal for everybody. I'm not a native English speaker, yet I understood him just fine by playing at 1.5x.

I believe he was using himself as a benchmark, someone in his thirties (33 years old in 2023), forecasting the classic 80 years old average in developed countries.
