The V10F has had problems with overloading. The Gotway Nikola is one of Gotway's newer wheels. While Gotway has done good work with performance for the last generation of wheels they introduced a new motherboard with smaller mosfets with the Nikola - how well does it hold up under stress?
In this video I introduce the Swedish hill test, where I stress the wheels in order to see what they can handle.
Some data about the conditions:
- Temperature: 9-10 degrees C (~50F), i.e. a pretty cold day as far as over-heating tests goes
- Lap length (from lowest point to the peak): ~500 meters (~ 0.3 miles)
- Average incline: 11 degrees
- Elevation difference: 62 meters (204 feet)
- Weigh-in fully geared and with backpack: ~94 kg (207 pounds)
