With how people see Markiplier celebrate after all his "custom night" modes, we have to remember when he completed them, the games were still new. A lot of the new strategy to beat the 7th nights a lot easier were not around when people first played the game when they came out. There are VERY different ways of measuring the difficulty of a game, and using just this ONE interpretation to laugh at it being considered the hardest is flat stupid and elitist. I don't really care about whether it is the hardest by any metric, I just hate how the list made is just flat wrong because it only cares about one single aspect to claim multiple games are harder therefore it can't be the hardest. I am sure you can pick any souls game in the soulsborne series and find a way it is the most difficult, because Dark Souls 2 is simultaneously one of the easiest to no-hit and beat outright, and the hardest to no hit if you beat ALL bosses.

While I get your reasoning for the dissection of "Markiplier is the king of Fnaf", it really feels like you are downplaying how impressive it was at the time. Just because we now 10 years later know how the games works in and out, doesn't mean that Marks feats weren't impressive, and especially for the time. Just because we know of several strats now that render it very manageable, doesn't mean it isn't impressive. I think it's impressive he did it without an in-depth knowledge of the technical aspect as we do now, and he has the moniker more because of his consistency in being able to do these, while also at the same time it being uncommon for people to do this

I agree, it really is sad how little he really considers this and is definitely throwing in as much about mark in there as he can for his own gain too, including eluding to him somehow faking his 10/20 completion. I'm noticing that Bones does definitely have the ego of someone who got into fnaf well after all these strats came out so now all he has to do is study the work that other people did for him, and that somehow makes him the best and all knowing or the one who decides what is and isn't impressive with total disregard for the differences in time periods. Sure it is an easy strategy but that doesn't discredit his achievement there, I know and agree that when comparing purely skill that markiplier isn't that good, but he still beat fnaf 1s max mode, and even with that strategy someone not as experienced as you would still probably find it challenging. I tried my best to make a fair argument and stuff, I do not mean any ill will as I do genuinely agree that his fnaf 2 max completion is iffy , when compared to when he beat fnaf 1, and that by skill he isn't the king of fnaf. @@Tbot_2 I never said anyone said he committed a major crime, your comprehension is a little off. Reread my “dribble”. I could have sworn astralspiff made a video on his extra channel going over this topic. In that comment section, there were a few people being very dramatic, upset at markiplier for (potentially) cheating instead of admitting that he couldn’t do it at the time. All I was saying was that it was funny/interesting to see that response when the situation or video was never that serious.

Challange idea(FNaF 4): Survive FredBear and the other 4 animatronics (freddy, bonnie, chica, foxy) at the same time for the entire 6 minutes. FredBear allows you to check 4 locations where as nightmare only lets you check 3. so if you don't let foxy in for the entire night, it could be possible.

They are simply poking fun. As someone who beat 14/22, AND post shift 2, post shift was miles easier. I promise you they are not elitist, the people I’ve talked to were extremely welcoming and nice.

Ctrl+S is a built-in feature of Clickteam that mutes the audio of the game, which messes with some audio-based triggers in the game. Besides salvages, it's also very useful in FNAF 3 and 4 to mute the background noise, and in FNAF SL to skip talking sections.

You said people without the relevant knowledge for Tier 5 probably won't know anything on it, and I'm not the most familiar with either category, but I feel I've indulged in enough FNaF in general to have come across these regardless, so I'll try to guess what they are before watching Tier 5. Max Mode List: A list of max modes from hardest to easiest, including both official and fan games. FNaF1 Golden Freddy AI: He doesn't really have one. It's just the rare chance spawn and a basic die/survive function once spawned. Minus 7: IDK Night 2 Golden Freddy: Golden Freddy in FNaF2 has a rare chance to spawn on any night prior to Night 6 at 3AM, most known due to an old video of such an occurrence happening on Night 2. FNaF3 Audio Lure: Springtrap has a 1/7 chance to ignore any use of the audio lure. Clickteam: The company behind the game engine of the same name used by Scott and countless fans for FNaF titles. The company is also responsible for the development of the remastered ports and seems to be working on something new in relation to FNaF. FNaF4 & 6 Teleportation: In FNaF4 when closing a door in FNaF4 when Nightmare Bonnie or Chica are halfway down the hall, they will always move straight to the door and will not move away unless the door is used again. A means to stop people from closing doors at the wrong time but is actually abusable to the player's advantage. Alternatively it refers to the fact that Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare do actually teleport between the two halls and into the closet or on the bed, and that they can only do so only so many times before their laughter that would indicate as such is always a fake out. In FNaF6, every animatronic excluding Lefty is teleported directly next to the Office once per shift. Unused images: Basic and expected cut content you'd find in any game or other piece of media. I'm a fan of such content myself and browse TCRF and other related places showcasing unused content often. SC4 & SC6: Similar to CD+ in FNaF1 & 2, SC4 and SC6 in FNaF4 automatically sets the hour of any night to 4AM or 6AM, of which the latter is an equivalent to CD+. SC4 was likely for testing purposes relating to composite nights where both the normal cast and Nightmare Fredbear/Nightmare are present and the active group switches at 4AM. I probably got something wrong or at least slightly off or unspecified. I can't wait for Minus 7 to also be something I might know, just not by the name given alone and then feel stupid if I do know what it is.
@vincentadamsvga

After having watched through Tier 5. FNaF1 Golden Freddy AI: What I said was completely different, but I did already know that info. Not sure why I took that one so literally when it should be pretty obvious in the first place he doesn't use a standard method of behavior. Minus 7: So I didn't know this one at all. Pretty awesome to see after all this time that you can in fact use cameras and the flashlight outside of the Puppet and Foxy effectively on later nights after all. Although the precision of the method would be undesirable to commit to for most players. Night 2 Golden Freddy: He has the same behavior on any other night too, doesn't he? I can't remember the specifics though other than Night 2, 6, and 7 (obviously) being definitively possible. FNaF4 & 6 Teleportation: I knew about how it worked in FNaF6, but I wasn't aware that it applied to FNaF4 similarly for Nightmare Bonnie and Chica. The name of the entry didn't mention FNaF3 though. I didn't know Springtrap functioned like that anyway so I wouldn't have guessed right anyways. SC4 & SC6: Like with the teleportation entry, Ctrl S, CD1, & CD2 weren't listed on the entry. But I did know about all 3 of those not listed. As far as I'm aware, Ctrl S skips the salvage segment because it silences all audio, making sound based segments throughout SL and in the case of FNaF6, Salvages, skipped over since all of the dialogue or other audio is skipped over acting as a makeshift form of skipping segments unintentionally. Also if I remember correctly, Ctrl S is a default Clickteam Fusion function, not a custom one like CD1/2/+ or SC1/2, and that there's also a default function for pausing games, even ones without the ability to pause by normal means, with a command prompted by Ctrl P. FNaF3 Audio Lure & Unused Images: Both entries were not covered in this video. I'm sure I'm right on the latter, but for all I know the former entry could be referring to something else about Audio Lures rather than what I listed.

I figured with Night 2 Golden Freddy, it was going to mention that Golden Freddy is set to rarely spawn for Nights 2-5, but it’s only ever possible for him to spawn on Night 2. But nope, Bones is just completely unaware that's it's impossible for him to spawn on Nights 3, 4, and 5.

I don't believe the claim for a second, myself. Night 6 alone is ridiculously hard and BS (furthest I've ever got is 3 AM), 10/20 just can't be the easiest max mode. 4/20 is. Night 6 literally made me hate FNAF 2 with a burning passion. Night 4 was bad enough, but I literally spent like 3 whole videos trying to beat Night 6, and I don't edit. I got so mad I basically rage quit. Haven't touched the game since, and this was well over a year ago IIRC. Sorry that this turned into a rant. Once I get going, I find it hard to stop.

26:10 I dont think its actually meant to skip salvages, since its just a click team code that disables sound. I think it skips the salvage because it relies on the audio to end so if you disable it you will skip the audio and win.

13:08 Possible correction, unless I have the time frame for the video releases wrong, but I believe the channels Uhyeah and Phisnom were among the first to really call PS2 the hardest fangame. Uh Yeah's video should still be up, but Phil's streams of the game were likely taken down when he took down all his other FNAF stuff. If someone popularized calling it the most difficult before them, I have no clue, but they were the ones I first heard call it the hardest FNAF game.

I'm relatively new to it, but the thing is that back when I was little I distinctly remember caring much more about that aspect of the game rather than the continously messier lore. post shift 2 isnt hard by itself, the problem is how unfair the rng was in the prepatched version and how much you have to read and understand as a new player. While Its not one of the hardest fnaf fangames, it is one of the hardest GOOD fnaf fangames. What i mean by that is excluding any mods of already existing games or games which were definetely made by beginner devs bc of how bad the assets look, the only fan games ik that are actually good thatd be harder than this are fnac and joy of creation (especially the ignited collection demo and the full game when it comes out)

3:23 I would assume that it means that FNAF 2 10/20 is the hardest max mode of all vanilla games. Not all people care about fan games and stuff. So isn't FNAF 2 10/20 mode the hardest max mode? I guess SL Custom Night pre-patch counts for that.
