Lying in bed recovering from emotional exhaustion- these stories have soothed, amused and entertained. I now enjoy the narration , associating Silverleaf’s unusual delivery with the stories. Wish the Americanisms could be Anglicised - drapes, pants and sidewalks break my deep involvement. Thank you Craig, you are my choice of dinner party companion!

Unbelievably, Good Sir, you have added a facet to Sherlock Holmes stories that in no way diminishes from the overall outcome of it's original plot and character. But that actually adds to the depth of it's nature as a Sociopolitical commentary and statement of the times. A very homogenous addition that Only a master storyteller could achieve so seamlessy with no apparent break from it's continuity and traditions. Thank you for this GREAT story of twist and turns; quite an artful work of spinning and weaving!! Along with excellent narration. Thank you so much to you Mr Copland and your great support staff. Thank you for another story - it was very enjoyable. After that big build-up in negotiating with the editor, it looks like things were swept under the rug. I wonder what kind of story Holmes gave him.

1:31:51 I never fail to get a chuckle every time Holmes assures his and Watson's discretion after every secret that has been shared with them was revealed by Watson in the Strand.

How nice of Watson to take the unfortunate schizophrenic under his wing. It's nice to have Watson doing actual doctor-ish things in the story because it fits into his character, and I think was an under-used angle in the original ACD stories.

Very interesting peek into some historical occurrences. However, I had to check the information about Cambridge not allowing women to graduate until 1977 and blacks until 1991. (I think I got the dates right). This doesn’t agree with what’s been posted on Google. Really enjoyed the book and the accents!

Those dates do agree with the Wikipedia page for the Rhodes scholarship, which includes other interesting information about its founding.

But please get a decent reader .. trying to mimic something is hard But please please .. new voice

Dear Craig , I’m hoping I misheard a comment of yours stating your books will use American English and spelling. If that is so, it’s outrageous. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a British author, his famous detective is British and so are most of the characters. The USA has only about 5% of the world’s population; why would anyone kow-tow to their form of English. And as for some productions being read in an American accent, I wouldn’t deign to listen to them. I believe you’re Canadian from British stock.
