So here I am, a metal and progressive rock kind of guy, and yet I could watch and listen to Tommy play all day long. What he can do with a guitar is nothing short of amazing. Sure, he probably can't play as fast as John Petrucci, but man can he PLAY!

Hi folks! Maybe someone happens to have an idea what is Tommy's fifth string tuning at the beginning of the video where he shows the harmonics? It sounds half tone higher so it gets me confused. I mean why his fifth string in the 6th fret sounds like played on the 7th?

@GalenWill
5 жыл бұрын
Maybe he's endorsed by a different brand and isn't supposed to be seen using other equipment. People do that at live shows, but it seems possible brands would require their artists to do the same in KZitem videos as there is even more visibility than a live show.

@hansvandermeulen5515
4 жыл бұрын
Yes he does. Place your fingertip inbetween 2 adjacent strings so that, in effect, you fret the two strings simultaneously. Try it with a Em chord and then a C chord where you fret the third fret of the 5th and 6th strings with your ring finger.
