This video helps a lot and especially in my situation because I'm doing everything I can to lower my blood sugar and especially when it comes to me going through a lot of tests and see what my doctor, specialist can do to get it down by catching it in time before it gets higher in more dangerous levels. And i hope and pray that i get a big good news report because I've been exercising a lot drinking plenty of water and fasting as possible and tried to loose more weight and eating healthier. Because being on pills or ending up taking insulin shots is not where I wanted to be especially being 40 years old. My mind is burned out on everything that is unhealthy and now my body is telling me the same thing And i made a vow when God Blessed me and get me through this i am all in with veggies and bake chicken,fish,turkey,tuna you name it. And the strange thing about it i knew that someday that i have to start a New Life healthy and hoping,praying that i can see another 10 or 20 and live to see 60 years old and that is my Goal God Willing. But other than that Pray for me to get through this so i can bounce back Strong!!!

I love that you explained about dried fruit thoroughly. Result: if you eat four dried cherries, it's still four cherries. If you eat one prune, that's the same as one plum. Assuming they're no sugar added products, and you hydrate well, since you're missing a fair amount of water with dried fruit. It's just misleading that it seems like a small amount, so you might overdo it. Don't worry, Dr. Frita, I won't do that. 🥰 P.S. My comment is from the perspective that I'm not a diabetic, and I don't want to become one.

If you ever visit the Baltimore, D.C., Philadelphia and other metro areas, please apprise us of any upcoming seminars. I would love to have you as my Primary Care provider especially during this time in my life. Keep up the great work and continue to keep people informed so they can live the healthiest life they possibly can. Even if I had to fly out to where you practice and saw you every 3 to 6 months, I would consider it to have someone like you as a health care provider to keep me healthy.

Yes doctor! I was given a brain cat scan two years ago for having mild irritation in the stomach after eating spicy food which I didn’t need and then the doctor admitted to fault for ordering a cat scan. After I started having flank pain, burning sensation on forehead, frequent urination, foamy urine, I could feel like liquid draining in my brain, burning sensation on left thigh, lower abdomen pain, pain around bladder, change in bowel habit, white coating on tongue, acid reflux, bleeding gums, burning in stomach and much more. All the symptoms went away except the foamy urine! I got a kidney ultrasound and a urinalysis and everything came back normal including a blood test and it was normal. They said my prostate was slightly enlarged at 38CC. I’m only 33 years ago and a few months ago they said they detected H. Pylori in my stool sample in which I never took any antibiotics for. What should I do? I haven’t taken any medication at all. I just want the foamy urine to go. There is no PROTEIN IN MY URINE.

Hi I was diagnosed last week with diabetes, my Ac1 was 6.8. I'm so confused on what to eat, I have been exercising daily. My Dr didn't mention how many carbs or how I should be eating. Any tips
@theblushingbookworm
9 ай бұрын
Hopefully by now, you’ve received information on carb intake . Some people just adopt a Mediterranean style of eating so they won’t have to count carbs or you can do like I do and make sure to eat less than 35/40 carbs per meal. Drink plenty of water and exercise at least twenty to thirty minutes five days per week… this could be simple as walking. KZitem has indoor walking videos. I have successfully went from 13.5 A1c to 6.6 doing this. A member of my support group completely reversed or cured hers going on two years now. It can be done.😀

@homebodyingwithericajean thank you so my surprisingly a nurse did a home visit yesterday. She said guess how much your Ac1 is. I said I know it's high I gained the 8lbs I.oost back. She said it's 5.4 . I was in shock she once you cross over you're always a diabetic even if you lose weight it's just controlled. I thought it would it no more diabetes?
@theblushingbookworm
9 ай бұрын
@@danapatilloytf2024 yes. I am happy you are controlling it! Sometimes the professional community don’t want to use the term “ cured” because diabetes can come back. I know some members of my support group were doing well until they had a surgery or caught a cold. But two women I know reversed theirs successfully… I’m writing an article about them now on my Medium blog. My medium name is “ It’s Ericajean”😀

It’s a part of food shaming and demonizing culture… not saying this doctor is doing that, but instilling fear in others makes them do it more not less. Why are people with type 2 told to eat low carb. Complex Carbohydrates increase insulin sensitivity, Fats and animal protein paralyze insulin receptors. I would think eating nothing but starch to increase insulin sensitivity and eliminating fat would be the way to go for type 2. Even table sugar was shown to increase insulin sensitivity. I just watched a young woman who ate 4 eggs a day get diagnosed with diabetes. Animal fat causes diabetes. I think the answer is doctors think meat is so yummy their patients wont have the will power to save them selves by not eating it.

Bananas are high in Potassium which we need 3,000 - 4700mg each day. It does have high carbs, and is not used in Keto. Fruits are better than fruit juice because of the fibre. However only your liver can process Fructose, whereas all your other cells have the ability to process glucose providing your not insulin resistant. There's many videos you have to watch to learn more.
