I own the Black Snowboard of Death and the K2 Alchemist Both are great charging boards, I take the K2 for the icy hard pack days and the BSOD on the softer days and both let me Rip and have the most fun I have had in years snowboarding. Really reignited my passion for the sport. I have some K2 Formula C from 2019 so now I just got to upgrade my bindings. Any recs for those 2 boards?

Hi from Argentina, can you provide a little bit more comparison between the Alchimist and the Snowboard of Death? Which one provides more edge control? Which one has a nicer FEEL while carving fast?
@WaveyJaguar
20 күн бұрын
@@maximilianomas8747 Both have great edge control I would say the K2 does hold a little harder when doing bigger faster carves but it also requires much more effort work and speed put into the board to get those results. I would say I can get some faster poppy type carves on the Snowboard of Death that the K2 rigidity doesn't allow for. My personal preference at this point in time is the K2 but I am a lower & faster rider who aims to be aggressive while snowboarding. I will say though on days I just want to have speed and cruise and just have good fun the Snowboard of Death is still a great choice.

But I can’t quite figure out where the Slayblade sits against today’s boards. Best thing about the Slayblade for me is charging hard, flicking it from edge to edge without effort, jump off the occasional terrain feature and being able to do it on hard/icy groomers in the morning and tracked out slush/moguls in the afternoon. And still has decent pow float (not that I get to see pow much). Anything on this list that would line up with that for a 6ft3in, 190lbs, size 13 guy? Leaning towards the BSOD 165W...
