@@GotROM thanks again. PS: Your content is excellent. In my case, hip impingement coming from arthritis. Do you have exercises targeted for that and how affective might they be? I am 60 +, and already engaged in d 90 min of movement and body weight exercises every day,, including plenty of hip work. Dr says keep moving and consider cortisone or hyaluronic injections to reduce pain symptoms. There is also stem cell option, but all of this is hit and miss.

What’s the most important movements to master for a college basketball player dealing with Fai symptoms that wants to play pain free?
@GotROM
2 жыл бұрын
Probably the Deep Squat. It's your basic "defensive position". AND your college S&C coach is probably gonna have you do lots of squats/deadlifts/olympic lifts. So it's a position worth mastering. Check this out: www.gotrom.com/deep-squats-bundle

How does it feel to have these stretches in terms of everyday vitality?
@GotROM
2 жыл бұрын
In a few words...it helps a LOT! For example, I feel VERY in tune with my body. My posture always feels great OR I can make it feel great QUICKLY. I always have adequate range of motion (ROM) for anything I need to do in life or playing sports. Getting skilled at stretching has helped me master my nervous system so I can RELAX very QUICKLY. Lifting weights always feels safe and comfortable. Basically, I find it to be an ESSENTIAL part to having everyday vitality.

@@GotROM Well I practiced hard for a year and a half and still failed. I've been slacking off lately but I'm getting serious again. But if I can't get those splits sometime later this year then I'm going to just give up forever. Feels like I've mostly been wasting my time all this time. #doomedtofail.
