This is the Arlington Plantation a federal style home that is over 200 years old. Original owned by John Hampton White and his wife Jane Surget White. Each room inside Arlington was filled with exquisite and expensive furniture, paintings, pictures and so much more, all from Europe. There was even a privately owned library that held over 8,000 books some of which are an incredible collection of many rare first editions ever made. It doesn't stop there! Even had a piano that was over 300 years old and it remained in the house until the 1970's. In September 2002, a fire broke out in the attic and burn down the roof, sections of the second floor and even the first floor. The City of Natchez, MS came in and installed a new roof on Arlington Plantation hoping they could save it, sadly the current owner doesn't seem to be present or wants to take care of it.
