Saw these guys in concert 1958, Birmingham England. They were support act for Jerry lee Lewis. Waited outside and was told he would not be appearing because he had brought his young bride of 14 with him into the country and that was NOT O.K.Told we could have our money back or The Treniers would do the show for us .Most people had their money and went . So glad my friends and I stayed. They put on a performance that was more like a big party, ( Wow. Wow...) and afterwards my friends and I spent the rest of the night in their dressing room talking about life and music etc. What an amazing night to remember...Still have their autographs and stuff in loft somewhere...including a signed Peter Styvesant cigarette pack......Those were the days!!!

Linda Adams ...Wow! You're about at least maybe 75-ish, yes?? Did you attend many shows/concerts from late '50s, '60s, '70s, etc., ?????

That's awesome. I'm related to them. I didn't know until after Cliff and Claude had passed. My mom and her sisters are named after their mom and siblings... they all grew up in Mobile.

I saw them at the Dominion Tottenham Court Road Loon in the mid-fifties, I think they were in support to Bill Haley, but I may be mistaken on that point. It may have been a different band as I seem o remember them using a trapeze or some such equipment in their act. It was a long time ago.

This track defines 'swing'...what a beautiful 'groove' the bass is in!! WOW! ..and that knockout sax playing!....and to top it all off they're all entertaining for the whole track. Knocks me out!!!

This is a brilliant example of how to entertain, and probably the best example of 'Swing' I've ever heard...all learning jazz musicians should listen and play along with this until they can swing like this automatically!

They´re the great influence on Bill Haley´s works!. The Treniers recorded Haley´s song "Rock-a-Beating Boogie".
