Just discovered this channel and have watched a couple videos and I have to say they were pretty damn good. Would love to see an explanation of the “God” Yahweh of the Old Testament and why he did the unspeakable things he did. Murdered MILLIONS of children, allowed the rape of women where the rapist got to marry the victim, demanded animal and HUMAN sacrifices, promotes incest, toys with his most loyal followers like Abraham who was gonna kill his son and poor Job because of a bet with “Satan”. These events I’ve mentioned are all in the Bible but nobody brings them up or even knows about them. Yahweh was the Israelites god who was the storm and warrior god…he was one of many gods that people worshipped but he IS NOT THE CREATOR GOD. Plus the 14 books that were taken out of the Bible also would be a good topic. The Bible is supposedly the word of God(even though we don’t even know which MEN wrote it lol) but when them 14 books were taken out in the 1300’s I think, now they’re not the word of God? How does that make any sense? Man is basically manipulating the Bible at that point and creating the narrative. Who knows what else was edited over the years so anyone who believes the Bible is the word of God literally can’t think for themselves cause with just a little bit of research,it’s pretty clear to see that it’s all BS

@witchking2063 the original Hebrew has to different words for the creation of Adam and Eve. The word for Adam has the meanings like fashion, form, or frame. For Eve, the word has the meanings begin, build, or make. There are even more meanings to the words used for both, but those definitions don't fit the context. I always figured the forbidden fruit was a fig, especially since they immediately cover themselves with fig leaves. Secondly figs become fermented on the branch. Finally, they have discovered Chalcolithic fig orchards in the Levant so it may be one of the earliest crops cultivated by mankind. Just my opinion.... Also it is an interesting irony that Eve found the fruit to be desired to make her wise or "sakal" in Hebrew. This is the same word for prudent. It's related to the subtility of the serpent which can be translated either as cunning or prudent. So I think there is a typical ironic plot twist that Eve wanted to become prudent but was actually quite gullible to be tricked by the craftiness of the serpent which is not at all prudent. There is also the hint that the fruit itself was not necessarily evil of itself. The idea of knowing good from evil is also called discernment which is a gift from the Holy Spirit and sakal is something that is given to the student of the law in Psalms and Proverbs. I think the real focus is that the fruit was probably meant to be given to them later after maturity and learning at the feet of God, but they took a short cut and "trespassed" by doing what "seemed right in their own eyes" instead of waiting for God's leading.

Discernment more so means being able to gain wisdom from a situation where everything seems "noisy" and you are able to discern what to do and what would be "wise", "good" or "correct" to do. It's connected to wisdom and being wise. It doesn't have to do with what you said. The Spirit is also a gift of accepting Christ. Everything else about being given to them later and maturity is your own jargon. I consider your comment mainly poison to believers so they best be weary of everything you say as it's misleading.

I actually find it amazing you superimposed something on me (which is a lie) saying I said it's something from birth and made an argument about it towards me. I don't appreciate a STRAWMAN argument. Do not twist my words or my intentions so you can make a point which we can all agree on, what have you discerned of my words and what can others now? Yet people still liked your comment? How easily they are manipulated. I was discussing what discerning is. You cannot argue that it is looking at a situation and discerning what is true and makes sense from what isn't. The bible even supports with a few verses asking for the ability to do as such. I was meaning the other things they were talking about. Like how to receive The Holy Spirit. You receive the holy spirit as a gift when you accept Christ, have you read the bible? Are you guys in a cult or something? Also we have many blessings and gifts from God. Some we are even born with by the way and this is biblically supported too, so I would disagree with you there as there is inherent blessing and curses generationally. However discernment definitely is a gift to be allowed to see and gain wisdom or the wisest path forward, however you must be a sturdy branch for the fruit that comes from the vine, that vine which is God (John 15:5) However the fruits of the Spirit are true as well and you do gain those later when you accept Christ. Not by "something that is given to the student of the law in Psalms and Proverbs." It's mentioned in (Acts 2:38), if that means anything to you. You know IF you're a Christian. Rather than creating a weak fake argument of me (strawmaning) with me, go argue with them if you're a Christian. I can't believe you've all been duped. I'm certain of the 37 likes some were Christians. You all should pray for discernment. Perhaps you don't have it. Ciao.

Or maybe I misunderstood what you were saying. Surely, given the text available, we're being told of one man and his actions, yes? Something else worth noting is that if Adam was created on the sixth day of the creation week, would there be time for other civilizations of non-humans to exist outside the garden? 20:37 - Actually, the tree of life is never forbidden at any point in the story. In fact, the reason they're told to be fruitful and multiply only after leaving the garden is because they had to reproduce in order to replace themselves and spread humanity across the world; which in Eden was not necessary because they were meant to live forever. 7:55 Fun fact, the (Koine) Greek translation (which is the one I have read from, since it's my native language) does use a word that means "moulded" (πλάθω) to talk about the creation of humans. Also, concerning the article, the Greek translation also uses the article a lot when referring to Adam, although this doesn't mean necessarily much, since by that time, the article in Greek was being used for anything definite (even names). 9:15 It also uses a word that means "constructed" (οίκοδομώ) when referring to Eve's creation. And when it comes to the rib, it uses a word (ἡ πλευρά) that means both "side" and "rib" (although the latter meaning is rarer when the word is in the form used in the text). To add to this, the sentence, in general, makes it quite vague as to whether the word used refers to a rib or a general side. 17:46 As for the garden of Eden, it never calls it a garden but rather a paradise, which, before it got the religious meaning, it meant "fenced menagerie" (so, it's more accurate to the hebrew text). Also, the tree doesn't give knowledge over the good and evil but over the good and the "πονηρόν", which in Greek it doesn't necessarily mean morally evil, but generally a malicious, mischievous or unscrupulous (or even dirty) act.

My doctor friend said the rib makes perfect sense as if removed correctly, it can regrow. You can also get organs from the information stored in the rib. The hip part was interesting for me as I've not heard that before. Thanks for the info. You did mention the two "creation" stories in Genesis, if I remember correctly, during that Lilith vid,but I felt it missing here although you spoke about the barbaric folk at the time. I have so many questions, but I'll have to wait for more information in other vids. Language is amazing. Thank you for your time and research.😊

As a Jewish Christian, I've actually enjoyed a few of these videos that I've been able to get through. I do want to make one side note. My opinion, just my opinion. I think people often times forget about the fact that the Bible is not only the history of man, but the Bible is leaving a whole bunch of things out simply because the Bible is also a representative of the way we should live. How to be saved. How to help others and treat others, and help to bring others to Christ. It is a manuscript on how to be a follower and imitate Jesus Christ, the son of God. It gives you just enough in the beginning to explain where you come from, and to establish God as the only God and creator. Who our ancestors were...., what mistakes they made and what good they did .....then slowly walks you through to the end of times. I think if God went into every single explanation on every single person he ever first created across the globe....the bible would be thousands of miles long....and being the distracted race we are...LOL. We would soon overlook or altogether forget....the main focus of the Bible. That God created man, and sent his only son to die for everyone's sins....to give all men a chance to be saved. Then he was resurrected, and God send the Holy spirit in place of Jesus, as helper alongside the Bible, till the end of times when all literally hell breaks loose. At least thats how I look at it. I wonder what your opinions are The first Book of Enoch? That would probably be very interesting. Thanks for the videos🙏

being Jewish Christian and knowing Hebrew does it make you read the Bible in a different way than other Christians. Are translation from Hebrew to Latin or other languages slightly change the meaning of the story? I know English and Spanish so translating has shown me that to make perfect translation and explanation from one language to another can only be done if you know both languages in such a way that the meaning can be conveyed not just words. Sometimes in English there is not a singular word for a Spanish word that meanings something, so I have to explain it in a sentence or more.

Very good points. It's clesr to me also that Adam is refering to a specific branch of humanity, and Cain married outside the line of Adam which is why he was never mentioned after that as being oart of Adam's geneology. Seth name essentially means replacement, he was a replacement for Abel and only after Seth was born is it stated that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. Cain clearly married outside the line of Adam.

I thought the same about the Bhagavad Gita when reading a few passages for school. I actually drew a piece with the creation of Adam coming from the mud. It kinda looks like Sandman from Spider-Man, but whatever. Then there’s the ark of the covenant that sounds like a magical nuke, and the sound weapons that destroyed Jericho’s walls, the Nephilim, Enoch, etc. If the Ancient Aliens people didn’t believe their science fiction so strongly as fact, they could’ve written something awesome like Stargate or Game of Thrones, but with aliens. I mean despite the meme that it’s racist, they’re equally dismissive of all cultures as if people couldn’t have possibly done that or built that. Like the religious that believed the Hagia Sophia’s dome was placed there by angels in the Middle Ages.

Indeed, St Thomas Aquinas wrote of this very early in his Summa Theologiae, that if there is only one objective truth then there must be a unity between the natural science and theology. Too many people, of all beliefs, think they are opposed, that either science is true or religion is true. This is a VERY new belief, and prior to the so called “Enlightenment” (Lucifer was the “light bringer”. Interesting.) nearly every distinguished scientist, mathematician, philosopher and theologian saw no such conflict and were deeply religious themselves. It’s only in modern times, when interestingly philosophy isn’t taught in the general school syllabus anymore, that people think there is a conflict. They are wrong. As an aside, it’s also important to remember that not all the books of the bible were written and intended as history books. Some are poetry, some allegorical, some anagogical, and yes some are historical. Many of the problems of interpretation of scripture come from a failure to realise this.

As a Christian, it's very good that you identified Adam as "THE man", and that they were not the first humans on Earth. Churches don't seem to teach very in-depth with this stuff, we just all accept without question the narratives of "the mother church" that have been built up over 2000 years. It also leads to misinterpretations and misconceptions further on in the Old and New Testament.

I once saw a short documentary about the creation of Eve. In it the presenter said the ancient Hebrew word used to describe the part of Adams body for creating Eve translated as 'fire of life", meaning the life force that God had placed into the man (Adam). It was pulled out to form Eve. Most likely the life force in Adam never diminished since it comes from God. Looking at this and your analysis, and considering that the Bible says that life is in the blood, it makes sense that bone marrow, where blood is made, and the fire of life are the same. We can also say that blood consumes the body like fire does its host.

1> About the forbitten fruit, malum is also the Latin form of the Greek word "μήλον"=pomum/apple. -um is the Latin equivalent of the Greek suffix -ον (ex στέρνον/sternum, Δίον/Dium, etc) while "a" is the doric form of common greek "η" wich is a long (prolonged) vowel btw. And in Greek, μηλον, alike pomum, is used for all kinds of fruits, not just apples. For example, greek "apples of Esperides", were probably oranges, "apples of Earth" were certainly potatoes, while the Persian Guards whose spears had a spherical bottom, were called "apple-bearers". 2> About the Garden of Eden, the most known word to us is Paradise. Paradise has an old Persian etymology. It literally means "enclosed/secluded garden" which is the exact notion of the original word Gan. We know for example that Cyrus the great constructed a Paradise/Gan that contained all the trees of his kingdom in Pasargadae. The typical architecture of such a garden would form around a central fountain spread wattering 4 perpendicular cannals. In the biblical text we read that 4 rivers had their source in that fountain, two of them being the known Tigris and Ephrates. But these rivers never meet in reality, so, perhaps the real garden was situated in the narrowest point between Tigris and Ephrates in its time. From there, two cannals were dig to these rivers and the other two to some tributaries rivers or grater cannals named Gihon and Pishon. To an ancient comentator in a completely flat terrain, 4 rivers wattering a central pont wouldn't make much difference from a central source wattering 4 rivers! The only tricky point is that a cartesian-like irrigation system would divide the garden into 4 quadrants, therefore there should be 4 trees in the middle, instead of 2! I have no answer to that point...... 3> The Adam and Eve are the archetypal couple. But no viable species could spring from 2 parents alone because of the fast genetic deterioration in case of inbreed. This part is mythical and similar to many mythologies where entire tribes descent from single patriarchs. Adam and Eve were probably meant to represent the first Israelites. The creation of Eve is also somewhat tricky. If Adam was a woman, the explanation would be straightforward, a mother (Adam) had a son (Eve). Biologically, a mutation from an XX (female) chromosome into an XY (male) would make much more sense than a reverse mutation (attavism) from the genetically more complex XY into the simpler XX. But in the Patriarchical context of most ancient mythologies, the first of a line had to be a male! Which created the twist in the storytelling, because a male cannot physically produce an offspring on his own, therefore a surgery-like procedure was necessary.

Adam had daughters. They were not mentioned with Cain and Abel. Adam was also the first man, not the ONLY man. The daughters of Adam were given to the other men, hence why Eve is the "Mother of living" in the literal sense. @@HouseSharath Or how about seeing the different looks as the result of degradation within DNA and also a sort insurance that we remain separate and don't create another tower of babel? After all, adam and the descendants closest to his generation lived for several hundred years. If sin physically corrupted to the point of bringing about dna degradation, that would be an explanation for it. It would account for human dna being so different across continents that the "out of africa" theory has come increasingly ever more under attack and theories regarding multiple origins are gaining popularity. The degradation of DNA leading to losses in some regions over others, making it look like there is no common origin in our eyes, would explain things.

Complications come from BACK-rationalizing concepts you don't HAVE. Have you ever seen a walnut desk? You might, but you have never invented a word for it, because English is like Chinese but WITHOUT even such a basic thing as separate symbols for the tree and the nut. I would like to play a bit of a devil's advocate here with the whole bone part. Firstly I do think that it's quite an interesting way of describing the whole procedure and linking it to modern medicine. I could honestly understand the situation with the iliac crest more than the rib if it were taken into a modern medical setting. Here is the issue I am faced with and might need a bit of more information on: Yes, the iliac crest is very much a place where bone marrow and stem cell biopsies are taken from, which makes sense in the context of analysis (after all you don't need an entire bone to analyse its marrow). Now if we assume that God is literally taking a curved object, that would mean that this isn't a biopsy but literally a removal or a donation from Adam to Eve. With the iliac crest it would seem like a massive hassle to just remove a part of the damn thing or even the whole structure, given the fact that A): it would be extremely inhibiting towards Adam, as a lot of muscular structures, arteries and nerves run through it and B) it's a massive bone attached by hard ligaments (making it very difficult to remove unless you have some kind of hacksaw). Comparing it to a rib, which is very much rich in bone marrow and stem cells as well (the only reason why biopsies aren't done here is because it's too small, and there is risk of causing a pneumothorax). If it were considered literally taking a piece off of Adam to give to Eve, this body part would seem like the most straightforward and efficient way for cutting and leaving the least amount of scarring for Adam. All you would need to do is cut once and you have the rib. At least if I were to do this procedure, I would 100% prefer to cut off a rib than a piece of iliac crest (for context I am a medical resident). Of course if there is no mention about literally taking out a curved object then the iliac crest is the more straightforward answer for a biopsy and stem cell growth. But I would like your opinion on this, are we considering this to be an organ donor, or a biopsy?

Utterly fascinating Metatron. Your questions are all shall we say "naturally there", but most of us never noticed. Twelve years of Catholic school education with many encounters with the old testament and literally, we never noticed these questions. Perhaps because we thinking of the writings as religious articles of faith and not historical writings. Really fascinating.

You are a brilliant teacher Metatron. I had no idea that the Hebrew Bible was this different, so thank you for these videos that are uniquely unbiased. I'm an atheist but one who has learned to appreciate Christianity for it's part in my culture and so on, this has been one of the best insights into Christianity from an objective point of view. I am interested in seeing where you go next!

He is brilliant in the area of the Scriptures if you are not also trained in Bible Hebrew and Greek nor a long time Bible Textuary especially from the paramount John 3:1-21 qualified position as some of us are. I'm Italian like him but first generation in Canada. Trained in various strengths formally and heuristically in Bible Hebrew, Greek, Standard Italian _[since i was brought up on dialect Italian not standard],_ Canadian French, Latin, and informally + heuristically self-taught in some Spanish, Portuguese, touch of German. No language ever translates to another with 100% perfection, it's just the way translation is, hence the idiom in English "lost in translation." Remember also he is giving you as he stated: a secular reading... linguistically, not an genuine Scriptural God/Jesus the Christ commanded John 3:1-21 qualified doctrinal reading. If you think going to going to a non-Lamborghini dealership to get your Lamborghini fixed by some mechanics who work on all cars, not solely Lamborghini's is a good idea, then you should go read Proverbs 26:7-9, there are many more parallel verses, like Matthew 7:21-23. This video serious is inherently biased in the eyes of authentic austere Scriptural Jesus the Christ _[God]_ due to how Metatron is not obeying the true Jesus in how to correctly study the Scriptures, but he already told you that indirectly for those who know the Scriptures as myself. I kindly ask you, since you state you are atheist, go look up "Frank Turek"... watch some videos, please, i encourage you, if you truly are appreciating such things.

As a religious Jew, I cannot express my appreciation enough that you are so respectful in these videos. Too many people deliberately disrespect Judaism and refuse to ask us how we interpret our holy books and act like they know them better than us.

I'm going to disagree here. Just because your a Jew doesn't mean your reading the original translation. Chabad for example is a corrupted Tanakh.

I'm an atheist with a good understanding of all the Abrahamic religions and in my opinion, the ONLY Abrahamic faith that isn't deserving of scorn is Judaism. It's the only narrative that makes sense, where the other two try adding things to the narrative and end up making a mess of it. For example, in both Christianity and Islam, Satan is the Enemy, the adversary of God who led a rebellion against him, etc... However, the people who invented this story and added it to the bible either forgot, or failed to notice that in the Old Testament, God never gave free will to the Angels. In fact, it specifically says that Free Will was a gift that was ONLY given to humans. This means that the whole "Devil is evil" aspect of Christianity and Islam doesn't make ANY sense! Of course, it's far more compelling, makes for a more romantic story if you tell people "God needs YOU in the fight against evil!" So this lie helped the Christians and Muslims to gain many of their converts, largely because most people similarly overlooked/ never knew that free will was a gift that was ONLY given to humans. This isn't the only such mistake, either. The more you study this stuff, the more obvious it becomes that Christianity was manufactured by men and that there's nothing divine about it. As another example, Jesus fails to fulfil the duties of the Messiah, meaning that the Jews are 100% correct when they say that Jesus is not the messiah. He failed to do ALL of the things that the Messiah was supposed to do during his life. This ALSO means that Jesus is a false prophet. Biblically, a false prophet is anyone who draws worship away from God and since Christians worship Jesus as God, this means Jesus is 100% a False Prophet! If I were you, I would walk with my head held high when passing Christians and/ or Muslims, content in the knowledge that yours is the only religion that ISN'T filled with embarrassing plot-holes and outright mistakes.

@@counselthyself2591except it is not sure how long Jesus ministry was from age 30 till his crucifixion. I say it was only a year and half not 3 years. ATOM/ADAM - Look at the symbol for ‘Atom’. Three rings with a dot in the center. Now focus on where these three rings interconnect and you’ll notice the image of the six pointed Star of David [Adam]. Now note how this star is not made up of straight lines but of slightly curved “ribs”. Remove one of those ribs and close up the gap and you will have the five pointed star symbol associated with Satan/Helpmeet/Eve. -Want to know more?
