I would love to see you continue on other interesting areas of Nuka World, like Oswald the ghoul in the Kiddie Kingdom or the strange experiments conducted in the Among the Stars exhibit. By the way, can’t remember if your previous video mentioned it or if you felt it just wasn’t relevant to the story you were telling here, but it’s thought that some survivors of A.F.A.D. (I think they were actually bigger than the 4-5 individuals we hear of through holotapes) eventually evolved to be the animal mask wearing raiders we encounter called The Pack. Also, when the terminal mentions losing around 3 reptiles to the original organization & made rules that keepers had to hold onto them from then on, it didn’t occur to me that they just grabbed them and took off. 🤣 That’s definitely more Fallout-like, but i😢had always assumed it meant due to their protests and lawful actions in a way like PETA would put pressure, though they’ve also done some outlandish things. I thought they successfully got animals taken away with accusations of abuse of mistreatment, using incidents that occurred like the venomous mishap to prove their point. A physical grab now seems more probable, after hearing you retell it. I need to get back to my playthrough where I’ve not done most of the DLCs other than Mechanist and just retook Castle in main plot. With all my mods (XB series X), I want to build small settlement areas in each part of Nuka World. Thank you so much for the entertainment. 💕

Given how gator claws are built compared to their more famous cousins, I wouldn’t be surprised if they could breed with regular Deathclaws given the chance. If that’s the case, them getting loose could have made the Deathclaw species as a whole far more dangerous. Imagine them with gator jaws, thicker osteoderms, on top of all the variants of Deathclaw you could imagine. A freakin chameleon gator claw derived from that rare Deathclaws traits would have been a perfect blending of the species, combining ultimate stealth with the gator’s predatory instincts, able to dominate bodies of water and land as a staggering powerful ambush predator.

@@amberkat8147 it’d be worth it. They’d be like bipedal Nile crocs with stealth capabilities, probably have rams horns instead of the front curling horns to make way for the longer snout and better compliment the beast’s bite force. Also, with crocodilian dna, these new Deathclaws would be very competitive, only the strong would survive, and if you encounter one in the wild, be wary. These beasts after years of breeding the strongest would have Deathclaw resistant hide theoretically, meaning this new breed has trouble cutting through the hide of its own kin, meaning the toughest natural armor on a beast you could imagine, especially if it’s a croc claw that’s aged quite a bit, as this new breed also would be bigger as it ages, like the super mutant behemoth 😂

He more than likely found a deathclaw corpse since there are deathclaws in the general vicinity and spliced it's genes with a gator. Thats the better explanation for their resemblence beyond Bethesda being lazy and not making 100% new models and animations which is actual reason for the resemblance. Ik doesn’t make much difference cause this world is even more slightly corrupt than our own, but I think the harm the animals would have been suffering near the coaster would be due to noise and light pollution, making it difficult to sleep which has severe consequences on living beings. Possibly also eating litter or bodily fluids projected out of the ride. Just more additional reasons their lives sucked besides being kept in sparse heavily overcrowded cages
