Since in the last days Nohow’ve been defamed on the web with accusations without concrete evidences, of being an unfair Company, slanders made with no proofs, no pictures and no signs of respect for the people who works hard behind a Company built on values like transparency, friendship and trust, we need to clarify Mariano Di Vaio and Nohow’s positions.
HOW WE WORK
Nohow is a Company built on internet: an Italian based e-commerce that works through non-traditional channels like the social media. Nohow is more than a brand, it’s a lifestyle institution who cares about the relationship with his followers. This strong relationship is based on trust: our customer care department is careful about every customers need, our social media manager takes care of every support message we receive on Instagram, and our followers can feel our friendly attitude. They often send us messages about what they love of our communication, feeling to be part of Nohow and feeling free to text us their suggestion. We create contents trying to give them the best user experience, building a solid relationship with them. For this reason we don’t create traditional advertising campaigns, but experiences: we invite people to have fun with us, creating big cross-marketing chances where shall be given the opportunity to every person who takes part to our trip to create their own contents and to promote theirselves -and, eventually, their Company.
WHAT WE DO
Our adventure trips are organized by our marketing and communication department, and our first goal is to make our host feel at home, for this reason we always work with Villas instead of Hotels, to create good situations where the various influencers and public figures can meet each other and become friends, creating unique situations that often become work opportunities and partnerships (when two influencers creates content together, each other’s followers cross and they can easily grow the number of their followers. That’s how cross-marketing works.) Nohow loves to create exactly these situations, making mutual benefits from the collaboration with the influencers who decide to work with our Company. Our terms and conditions are absolutely clear from the outset: we make contracts to protect the influencers and to ensure them about how we’d like to involve them in our social campaigns. We never use false pretenses to fool the people we work with, because our main goal is to create authentic experiences (for this reason we invite our host to create contents about the trips, like this one by Nic Palladino ( • What Happened in Greece? ). We always send the contract before booking the flights and accomodations, because if there’s someone who doesn’t feel comfortable with the terms and conditions, he can simply choose to not to come.

The tragi-comic aspect of the defamation video “The truth about Mariano Di Vaio” is that the thumbnail preview shows two pictures, one for “expectations” and one for “reality”: it’s funny because the picture used for “expectations” is a real picture of the villa, while the “reality” pic is not a real image of the villa, but a fake picture taken by Google, maybe.
POSITIVE VIBES
We’d like to be positive avoiding to focus on negative vibes - no one else complained about the five-star treatment.
Also, since we always try to look at the glass as half-full, we consider ourselves honored because this person wears Nohow from the top to the bottom in every video and picture he takes, so if even a person who hates us wears our clothes, this means that we’re freaking good in doing cool stuff!
