I really appreciate your videos they are very informative better than a lot of the other videos that have a lot of subscribers. How do you go about removing phosphates is there a special chemical that specifically removes them?

PhosFREE works for me. I add half a capful (2 ounces) every 7 days and the phosphate level is always close to zero.

what are your thoughts about poolrx ??? I live in the tropics , apparently you dont need to remove the phosphates as the algae is killed by the copper , also you need less chlorine and it lasts for six months , great videos

If your pool is inder a forest.....in Houston where thunderstorms can drop 4" of rain in your pool in an hour, with driveways and gardens washing in do to runoff, where the average temp in July is 98°. Where hurricanes come in occasionally....you need to kill back the phosphates. Period!

sounds like in those extreme conditions that's probably the best course of action

Same here in South Florida. Phosphate are even in the municipal water supply when you add water to the pool
