What feminism calls to is indeed evil and ruins family and children. Im anti-feminist as much as you are brother, but I think you got it wrong there. A women's wealth is hers alone and she has no 'obligation' to spend it on the family. But a man is Islamically obligated to spend on his wife and children. This difference can be attributed to clear gender roles in Islam.
@Basheer245

@@shaham90 Yes, there is no doubt. It is the right of the wife to keep her wealth and for the husband to spend on her regardless of what she has. But what I meant was that the feminist wants to forgo being a traditional wife (she demands equality or she will refuse to be a traditional wife when it comes to her husband’s rights) but will demand traditional Islamic rights when it’s in her favor. Before critics of Brother Daniel start commenting on this video and miss the point (as per your usual): Brother Daniel doesn’t necessarily say to adopt Red Pill *principles* wholesale, but rather, to intelligently select Red Pill *arguments* where they are useful and don’t violate Qur’an and Sunnah. Let me give you an example: Red Pill advocates often draw attention to modern scholarship on labor and wages that debunk the trope of the “wage gap between men and women”. This is a good argument that debunks what is essentially an article of faith among modern feminism advocates. Where in the Qur’an, Sunnah, or classical Islamic scholarship can we find such research? We can’t, because these are issues that only arose recently. What about Red Pill arguments showing the anti-male bias of family law courts, divorce settlements, and alimony and child custody norms in the United States? Same thing. We get our principles from Islam, but we gather and analyze empirical data-and construct criticisms and arguments against liars who misrepresent the empirical data-using the scholarship that made accurate data available, even if it only comes to our attention through Red Pill advocates who talk about it. It doesn’t mean we are endorsing Red Pill philosophy, but we are allowed to use facts and tools for our own purposes when they suit our needs, and they are neither untruthful nor misused in violation of Islamic principles. Listen to what Brother Daniel is actually saying, rather than indulging in your usual straw-manning of his arguments.

agreed, the brother did explain that before too. the thing is that there is a part of it that is extremely attractive to an increasing number of men, including muslim men, where women are being degraded and seen as an object, while the mans negative/haraam sexual behaviour is being justified. I myself personally agreed with redpill when i watched their videos, a lot of great points against feminism and other leftist ideas, but then it gets to this degrading and elevating of women based on looks and for men based on money etc. which is not islamic at all. may Allah guide us. ameen. also, there is also another thing i've seen with many of these non muslim redpill/conservative/anti-left/right-wing videos, almost all of wich i have seen are islamophobes too.

They are though. Trash I mean. Because of their attitude. How would you feel if a man went from girl to girl all his youth and then, as he approaches impotence he's trying to lie and say that he's not promiscuous and ask you to take care of him and pay for stuff, despite him not even giving you the prime years of his biology and haven given other women his body for free? You know he set his price tag as "cheap sIut" in his 20s, and as he's approaching infertility, he asks you to pay the premium fee for his broken body, as if you were lesser than the garbage that he slept with for free all his youth. How would you feel? As for divorce, that is the biggest red flag. Either she has poor taste in men. Or she's disloyal and she gives up on commitment as soon as she can get alimony. All while crying about men being "commitment-phobes", of course.
@pastelqueenwudel
2 жыл бұрын
@@Hynotama men in this movement literally are like this. They are the most promiscuous men out there because in their logic only women have to be modest and not promiscuous. Also I don't speak about women like this but women who weren't promiscuous and are 30. And one question: are you Muslim? Because then it makes absolutely no sense to say that it's a red flag when a woman is divorced since some of the wives of the prophet were divorced. Divorce can have many reasons. The reason of my mother was abuse for example. The reason for the aunt of my friend was her husband being an alcoholic and being a cheater. You don't know the reasons of these relationships ending, so...
@Hynotama
2 жыл бұрын
@@pastelqueenwudel first off, that's not a movement, that's a lifestyle. Second, a lot of those men are ones who adopted that defeatist attitude after being destroyed by women they loved and trusted. I'm not referring to idiot conservatives and PUAs. That is not how the majority of men act. Modern women don't reach 30s without having a body count that exceeds a man's lifetime body count. If there are exceptions there are VERY few. Yeah, Jesus hanged around pros... stitutes too. Doesn't make prostitution a good thing. Yet here we are in the era of OnlyFans where girls do it before they're even legal. Also your two examples hardly justify the immense numbers of men crying about their wives using and cheating on them and taking everything they can in the divorce. On top of that, women choose who to say yes to. They have some responsibility for going for the bad boys. And no, I'm not excusing abusive behavior. And no, I'm not Muslim. I was raised a Christian, but I'm not a believer. I was talking about the situation in general though. Men are treated as 2nd class citizens. Feminism has no place in our world. Your precious feminism fights tooth and nail to keep the Indian law from including male grape. So yeah, you can understand why I'm skeptic about it. There's more numbers that prove feminism to be poisonous for both men and women, but I don't want to write you a boring text wall of statistics. Plus this is KZitem. Censorship at its worst.
@pastelqueenwudel
2 жыл бұрын
@@Hynotama well, since I'm not fond of hook up culture and I and no one of my friends are participating in it I don't see the reason to further discuss women who do. This goes for prostitution and onlyfans too. It seems (in your first part) that you only have sympathy for men who had broken their hearts by women and not for women who were used by men. So men who are promiscuous because they were hurt are okay but not women? Or did I not understand you correctly? Also you don't have a clue about my feminism (I'm not part of the liberal third wave). A lot of our problems would be solved if 1. Stop free mixing just for social reasons and don't create room for free mixing or promote it. Seems like the more the genders have mixed the less they have interest in marriage and the ones who are married are not lasting. 2. If divorce takes place, let the woman's father or male relatives handle it and stick to the ruling of islam, even if the children have to go with the father. Let her family educate and emotionally support her on the ruling set by the quran and sunnah. Alot of single sisters propping up because her family have not taken her in and taking the responsibility of looking after her financially. Divorce sisters play the single card because they think their ex husband has to pay her money for the rest of her life and in some cases even if she remarries! And if they have children they use them to milk the ex husband. 3. Stop ex husband and wives from chit chatting. Let the ex husband discuss the children through her male relatives or write it down so no one can pull a stunt. Let the ex wife move on so she's not keeping her husband as a sideline. Also from experience of communicating with divorced sisters. They have said their ex husbands have chatted in a manner that has been inappropriate. Again if family take responsibility for these two divorcees then a lot of this will be nipped at the bud and children will have routine and stability. 4. Moving on, divorcees should move on without baggage of ex experiences. Or ex spouses bothering each other. Again family should remind the divorcees its haram to bother a person that they have no right over. Family must have a stronger role in marriage and divorce. To many modern day daees and sheikhs are telling men to just give give to their ex wife. This has not helped in marriages serviving and children are used as tools to score points. Before divorce the children should be discussed and placed in the home they will call home and feel stability. After this the two adults can move on.

Brother Daniel is doing a good job but I do not entirely agree with some of the opinions he holds. Islam and Redpill (as a theoretical concept) are mutually exclusive. It’s like saying the Prophet Sallallahu Aleyhi Wa Sallam promoted women’s rights, hence he was a feminist. Redpill is in no way a contender for da’wah efforts either. Da’wah must only be given using the concept of Tawheed because once that is understood, the whole of Islam and Sunnah will be understood. Moreover, patriarchal models are present in eastern religions like Hinduism and Sikhism as well but that patriarchy is man made for the most part. So, how are we going to distinguish between the type of patriarchy these eastern religions promote vs. the one understood in Islam? We should keep things simple and leave these western ideologies like Redpill, study of philosophy out of Islam. Stick with the Quran and the Sunnah. As for the point about women getting attracted to social status of men when searching for a potential spouse, it is a huge generalization. Reality is much different than that. Khadijah RA did not marry the Prophet Sallallahu Aleyhi Wa Sallam based on his social status (in fact the roles were reversed in their case). She chose him for his righteousness and honesty. I chose my husband solely for his religion because as a revert that was something of immense value to me (although there were other secondary factors as well). What is dangerous about promoting the idea of Redpill is that people can go to extremes and May end up adopting an idea that is in complete contradiction to Islam. For example, there was a video of Daniel where he mentioned that women must not get offended when they are asked about their sexual history when discussing marriage while thinking that it’s perfectly okay for them to ask about the financial stability of the guy approaching them for marriage. A lot of Muslims in the comments seemed to agree with the idea that sexual immortality was perfectly ok for men as long as they were financial successful. This is the harm and delusion Redpill promotes. Islam prohibits any sexual perversion (all sins for that matter) equally for both men and women.

Divorce is being sold at an one-size-fit-all value, even entertaining seeking divorce bcuz one is disenchanted with their spouse (I thought we weren’t going to get hung up with romanticized Hollywood/Bollywood version of marriages). We live in era of heightened feminism where women largely exceed men in higher education (by 20%,) and largely occupy easier and safer jobs compared to men (Hazardous occupations: Fire fighting 99%, male Logging 98% male, Trucking (heavy) 98% male, Construction 98% male, Coal mining 97% male. Safe occupations: Secretary 99% female, Receptionist 97% female). Yet women with these liberal and modern paths of life are still the highest demographic of depressed group of people (women ages 40 to 59 have the highest rate of depression (12.3 percent) of any group based on age and gender in the U.S., according to the report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Does this not show that this new idea of feminism/liberalism is ironically not liberating women but in fact causing them harm and a poor quality of life? The more women who move away from traditional roles and run towards these feminist/liberal ideals such as chasing a career and trying to be equal to men, the more unhappy they become. Its because they are running from the truth and what is naturally better for them. 48% of women did not want to go back to work after Covid lockdown (september 2020, 865,000 women left their jobs, which is a drastic difference from the 216,000 men who also left their jobs, according to a National Women's Law Center analysis) which proved how happier they were compared to men at staying at home. They just needed to remove themselves for a short time, away from that feminist propaganda of playing a man's role and just like that, their natural inclination was to stay at home. Another problem they suffer from by following feminism and chasing careers is the potential to attract the best suited husband. A chart of SMV (sexual marketplace value) clearly shows that a woman's SMV rises from the age of 16 rapidly to it's peak at the age of 23/24. At the mid/late 20s it rapidly decreases just as it increased and by the time she hits 30 her value is a 4/10 compared to a 10/10 in her early 20's. A man's SMV is low during a woman's peak but it is at its highest after the woman's decline rapidly increasing post 30 at hitting its peak mid 30's and dropping at a slower rate than a woman's decline. This is why we often here the cliche "where have all the good men gone" from women on the decline. In their 20's they arrogantly say "I dont need a man". In their 30's they frustratingly say "Where have all the good men gone?". In their 40's they desperately say "I need a man". In their 50's they hopelessly say "any man will do". We see this problematic pattern over and over but nobody has the guts to tell women they are following a wrong way of life and nobody has the guts or done the research to critique feminism. An ideology from the devil to cause trials and tribulations.

“Traditional scholars did not say the role of the woman was to cook and clean”. Imaam al-Bukhaari narrated in his Saheeh that Faatimah (may Allaah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked him for a servant. He said, Shall I not tell you of something that is better for you than that? When you go to sleep, say Subhaan-Allaah (Glory be to Allaah) thirty three times, Al-Hamdu Lillaah (praise be to Allaah) thirty three times, and Allaahu akbar (Allaah is Most Great) thirty four times. (Saheeh al-Bukhaari bi Sharh al-Asqallaani, part 9/506). Al-Tabari said, in his commentary on this hadeeth: we may understand from this hadeeth that every woman who is able to take care of her house by making bread, grinding flour and so on, should do so. It is not the duty of the husband if it is the custom for women like her to do this themselves. Imaam al-Bukhaari (may Allaah have mercy on him) reported in his Saheeh that Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: I got married to al-Zubayr, and he had no wealth on earth and no slaves, nothing except a camel for bringing water and his horse. I used to feed his horse and bring water, and I used to sew patches on the bucket. I made dough but I was not good at baking bread, so my (female) neighbours among the Ansaar used to bake bread for me, and they were sincere women. I used to bring date pits from al-Zubayrs land that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had given to him, carrying them on my head. This land was two-thirds of a farsakh away. One day I came, carrying the date pits on my head, and I met the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), who had a group of the Ansaar with him. He called me and made his camel kneel down, for me to ride behind him, but I felt too shy to go with the men, and I remembered al-Zubayr and his jealousy, for he was the most jealous of people. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) realized that I felt shy, so he moved on. I came to al-Zubayr and told him, I met the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) when I was carrying date pits on my head, and he had a group of his companions with him. He made his camel kneel down for me to ride with him, but I remembered your jealousy. He said, By Allaah, it bothers me more that you have to carry the date pits than that you should ride with him. Asma said: After that, Abu Bakr sent me a servant to take care of the horse, and it was as if I had been liberated from slavery. (Reported by al-Bukhaari, Fath, 9/319). In the commentary on the hadeeth of Asma, it says: from this incident we may understand that it is the womans duty to take care of everything that her husband needs her to take care of. This was the opinion of Abu Thawr. Other fuqaha suggested that Asma did this voluntarily and that she was not obliged to do it. Ibn Hajar al-Asqallaani said: It seems that this incident Asma carrying the date pitss to help her husband and other similar incidents were the matter of necessity, namely that her husband al-Zubayr and other Muslim men were preoccupied with jihaad and other things that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had commanded them to do, and they did not have time to take care of domestic matters themselves, and could not afford to hire servants to do that for them, and there was no one else who could do that apart from their womenfolk. So the women used to take care of the home and whoever lived in it, so that the men could devote their time to supporting Islam. Then he said (may Allaah have mercy on him): What is more likely is that the matter had to do with the customs in that land, for customs may vary in this regard. It seems that what Ibn Hajar said is close to the view of those who say that the wife has to take care of her husband and the home in accordance with the dictates of local custom. Ibn al-Qayyim said, concerning the story of Asma: When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw Asma with the date pits on her head, and her husband al-Zubayr was with her, he did not tell him that she did not have to serve him, or that this was unfair to her. He approved of her serving him and of all the women among the Sahaabah helping their husbands. This is a matter concerning which there is no doubt.

There are numerous ahadith that strongly emphasise how a woman is to be obedient to her husband so much so that if Allah was to allow the creation prostrating to anyone other than Allah then he would make the wife prostrate to the husband. So much so that a woman must to attend to the need of her husband even if shes already on the saddle of her camel i.e busy and unprepared. The hadith about fatimah r.a complaining to the Prophet pbuh about her streneous domestic duties and a need for a servant, he instead gave her the infamous tasbeeh fatimah to preform instead of hiring a servant. Note, this is his own daughter which he loved more than any other father loves his daughter as he pbuh was perfect and the best father. Did he say that she is not obligated therefore she should abandon her domestic duties? Also , did she come to the Prophet pbuh like modern women do nowadays and say "show me the ayat that says we have to do these house chores"? They knew their place and through out history no objections were made until we got feminism and women got brainwashed to believing that working at home is slavery but slaving in a job is empowering. References are given below of hadiths. Now you tell me, what does every man, from every culture, religion, society, in any time in history expect and even demand from his wife whilst he is fulfilling his role as a provider? Thats right, a wife who fills his belly, keeps his house clean and fulfils his needs. These have been normal duties that all women in every society have been attentive towards and obedient to the husband in these regards. If a man says im coming at home at 6pm and I expect dinner at 6.30pm do you think these women will attain paradise and are are followings the saheeh hadiths below regarding obedience if she arrogantly turns around and says "I'm not your slave, show me the hadith where it says SPECIFICALLY I have to cook and clean." This argument is as retarded as non muslims who argue against Islam and say if the Quran is the truth then find a verse of the Quran that describes the exact mathematics and science on how the baby is born or how the universe is expanding. I wont accept a broad and general verse. The hadiths state obedience in a general term because obedience is an inclusion of all normal day to day domestic duties and it is obedience in not just home duties but even social behaviours, such as the man having the rights to prevent his wife from acting in a certain way that displeases him or being involved with people that he wishes his wife to stay away from like the common toxic, jealous, single feminist who sees happy obedient women being married, having provision, stability and security in their life unlike them, so in an act of jealousy and frustration, adamantly attempts to make married women wreck their own homes so they can also be dragged to hell with them. When even liberal, atheists desire wives who cook and clean, which goes against their idea of feminism and a liberal dystopia then I dont know what planet these modern muslim feminists are on when they ignorantly argue "show me cook and clean from Quran and ahadith" Sahih al-Bukhari 3113 Narrated `Ali: Fatima complained of what she suffered from the hand mill and from grinding, when she got the news that some slave girls of the booty had been brought to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). She went to him to ask for a maid-servant, but she could not find him, and told `Aisha of her need. When the Prophet (ﷺ) came, Aisha informed him of that. The Prophet (ﷺ) came to our house when we had gone to our beds. (On seeing the Prophet) we were going to get up, but he said, 'Keep at your places,' I felt the coolness of the Prophet's feet on my chest. Then he said, "Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say: 'Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater)' for 34 times, and 'Al hamdu Li llah (i.e. all the praises are for Allah)' for 33 times, and Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) for 33 times. This is better for you than what you have requested." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “It is not permissible for a woman to fast when her husband is present except with his permission, or to allow anyone in his house without his permission.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 4899. Al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) said, commenting on this hadeeth: Since it is obligatory for a woman to obey her husband with regard to his satisfying his desire, it is more appropriate that it be obligatory for her to obey him in that which is more important than that, namely raising their children, guiding the family, and other rights and duties. From Adaab al-Zafaaf, p. 282 Ibn Hibbaan narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (Ramadaan), guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: ‘Enter Paradise from whichever of the gates of Paradise you wish.’” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 660. Ibn Maajah (1853) narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Abi Awfa said: When Mu’aadh came from Syria, he prostrated to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who said, “What is this, O Mu'aadh?” He said, I went to Syria and saw them prostrating to their archbishops and patriarchs, and I wanted to do that for you. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said, “Do not do that. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to anyone other than Allaah, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands. By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no woman can fulfil her duty towards Allaah until she fulfils her duty towards her husband. If he asks her (for intimacy) even if she is on her camel saddle, she should not refuse.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah. Ahmad (19025) and al-Haakim narrated from al-Husayn ibn Muhsin that his paternal aunt came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) for something and he dealt with her need, then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do you have a husband?” She said, “Yes.” He said: “How are you with him?” She said, “I do not neglect any of his rights except those I am unable to fulfil.” He said: “Look at how you are with him, for he is your paradise and your hell” - i.e., he is the cause of you entering Paradise if you fulfil his rights and the cause of your entering Hell if you fall short in that. Al-Mundhiri classed the isnaad of this hadeeth as jayyid in al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb; it was classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, no. 1933. If there is a conflict between obedience to one’s husband and obedience to one’s parents, then obedience to one’s husband takes priority. Imam Ahmad (may Allaah have mercy on him) said concerning a woman who has a husband and a sick mother: Obeying her husband is more obligatory upon her than (taking care of) her mother, unless he gives her permission. (Sharh Muntaha al-Iraadaat, 3/47). In al-Insaaf (8/362) it says: She does not have to obey her parents with regard to leaving her husband or visiting etc., rather obedience to the husband takes priority. There is a hadeeth concerning this issue which was narrated by al-Haakim from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) who said: I asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “Who has the most right over a woman?” He said: “Her husband.” I said, “Who has the most right over a man?” He said, “His mother.” But this is a weak (da’eef) hadeeth, which was classed as such by al-Albaani in Da’eef al-Targheeb wa’l-Tarheeb, 1212, and he criticized

Just by providing counter feminist arguments backed with evidences, a typical feminist would use shaming tactics in a last ditched effort to silence men. Offering evidences that feminism and liberalism is failing society at large is politically incorrect no matter how much of a good fight it is. Why are women triggered when men attack and scrutinise feminism as though they are attacking and scrutinising women? Aren't you admitting that all women are feminists if you claim attacks on feminism is attacks on women? Women like to claim feminists are in the minority and disassociate themselves from that home breaking movement. Yet, anytime a man talks against it even when he proves with clear-cut evidences on how it harms society and even how it harms women, then women become offended rather than happy or at the very least, indifferent in their reactions. Should you not be grateful and supportive to someone who is helping society and women by exposing an ideology that is destructive to everyone, especially women? Rather women get triggered and resort to shaming tactics which is always a feminists last stance in an argument when they have nothing else to argue with. If data is presented, providing the truth, which inhibits female privileges, then women get angry or triggered, is it not sexism, hatred, bitterness and malice against men coming from women? These bitter reactions from women are testimony to the fact that most women want feminism, not for equality but rather for privileges as that what the movement has proven to fights for, privileges not rights. It is proving to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. If you don't have a counter argument then dont resort to shaming someone, especially someone you dont know. Men also have mothers, sisters, daughters and wives. Why would men argue against feminism if they believed it would not benefit the women they respect and love? By counter arguing feminist narratives, myths and arguments, we can then protect the women we love against an ideology that will destroy their lives to one in which they will be more accepting to feminine roles once again and retrieve the respect, security, comfort and protection thay they once obtained from men. It was first women who long ago stopped becoming traditional and now decades later, men have opted for equality in this regard and are abolishing their traditional roles just as women have been doing since the 1950's. Like dave chappelle said, "chivalry is dead and women killed it". Boys from a young age are raised by society to put women on a pedestal, never question them and always shift the blame on themselves for any bad happenings in society. It is only the minority of traditional women who warn the men they love about the evil nature of modern and feminist women. We are brainwashed to believe women can do no wrong and that women are the fairer sex. This allows women to easily manipulate men and such men lose their credibility as real men because a man should be a leader and wise enough to not be manipulated by emotional creatures that usually act on hypergamy, which often destroys the family structure i.e married women with kids divorcing good men because they believe they deserve even better. Ingratitude towards the husband is something the prophet pbuh warned women from, as he said, it is the main reason why most women will enter the fire. So would you use petty shaming tactics against the prophet pbuh because it is politically incorrect to mention any harsh truths about women? "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers were women who were ungrateful." It was asked, "Do they disbelieve in Allah?" (or are they ungrateful to Allah?) He replied, "They are ungrateful to their husbands and are ungrateful for the favors and the good (charitable deeds) done to them. If you have always been good (benevolent) to one of them and then she sees something in you (not of her liking), she will say, 'I have never received any good from you." He pbuh came to save every single one of us from evil in both lives, so if he said certain truths it was for the greater good and not to attack women or be "hateful" "resentful" or "bitter" towards women, he wanted to warn women against themselves for their own success. We understand that when it comes the the prophet pbuh so why do women have an issue if men are following those teachings and warning women against feminism and against themselves? He told women where their place is in society and that is towards the obedience of the husband which if he said today as a prophet of our time, many of today's modern muslim women will disbelieve him to be the prophet because it goes against political correctness and their beliefs of female positions in society that have been mandated via feminism. So now they cannot argue against the prophet pbuh because he is proven to be a prophet and blasphemey towards him will lead to kufr and even death in some societies, so instead women pick on todays men and call them weak, cheaters, bitter or any sort of false assumptions and shaming language to avoid any sort of accountability. Either admit the truth or stay quiet. Dont try to live in this dystopia where women can never be wrong. If women find that Offensive then it shows whos the actual sexist, hateful, privileged, bitter, narcissistic and malicious gender.

The death professions: Men’s biggest glass cellar 94 percent of occupational deaths occur to men.The United States has a worker death rate three to four times higher than Japan’s. If the U.S. had the same rate, we would save the lives of approximately 6,000 men and 400 women each year. The United States has only one job safety inspector for every six fish and game inspectors. Work safety is yet to become a course requirement for even one MBA program in the United States. Every workday hour, one construction worker in the United States loses his life. The more hazardous the job, the greater the percentage of men. Some examples: Hazardous occupations: Fire fighting 99%, male Logging 98% male, Trucking (heavy) 98% male, Construction 98% male, Coal mining 97% male. Safe occupations: Secretary 99% female, Receptionist 97% female. One reason the jobs men hold pay more is because they are more hazardous. The additional pay might be called the “death profession bonus.” And within a given death profession, the more dangerous the assignment, the more likely it is to be assigned to a man. Both sexes contribute to the invisible barriers that both sexes experience. Just as the glass ceiling describes the invisible barrier that keeps women out of jobs with the most pay, the glass cellar describes the invisible barrier that keeps men in jobs with the most hazards. Members of the glass cellar are all around us. But because they are our second-choice men, we make them invisible. (We hear women say, “I met this doctor . . .,” not “I met this garbageman . . . ”). The death professions: double standards When mining, construction, and other death professions are discussed in feminist publications, they are portrayed as examples of the male power system, as “male-only clubs.” However, when Ms. magazine profiled female miners, the emphasis was on how the woman was forced to take a job in the mines because it paid the best, and how taking such a job was the only way she could support her family. Ms. could never acknowledge that the male-only clubs of hazardous occupations paid best because of their hazards and had been male-only exactly because men risked their lives for the extra pay to support their loved ones. They could not acknowledge that almost no woman worked in a mine to support a husband. Or that, if the woman they were profiling had a husband, he would have gone to the mines - not her. This double standard - of the death professions being a privilege when men did them and an oppression when women did them - has made two generations of men feel a bit unappreciated.

Did men treat women as property? It is only the understanding that men’s lives were subservient to property that allows us to reconcile women’s combined status as equal to property and on a pedestal. When we hear that men treated women as property, we rarely hear that men were expected to die before their property got hurt - that men’s lives were, in essence, subservient to property. Even in nineteenth-century America, federal law required that if a wife committed a crime, the husband would be tried for her crime and he would be put in prison if she was found guilty. Similarly, if the family went in debt, only he went to debtor’s prison. Throughout history, both sexes were property in various ways. Mayan boys indentured themselves to their father-in-law; in biblical times, Jacob indentured himself to Uncle Laban; in America, Johnny indentured himself to Uncle Sam... In almost every society that had to defend its land, boys died defending it and, before they were old enough to know better, were socialized to be proud to die. In America, tens of thousands of immigrants earned passage as indentured servants. More than 90 percent of the indentured servants were men. The men initially assumed slavelike status for a seven-year period. Some were single men who hoped to earn enough money to become eligible for marriage. Others had wives still in Europe. Think about this. What could be greater demonstration of love than a man enslaving himself for a woman without any of the benefits of her cooking, cleaning, or companionship? Many of these men didn’t do this just on Mother’s Day - they did it every day for between seven years and life. Only men - the “unromantic sex” - did this unilaterally for women. But, many indentured men eventually extended their indenture to fourteen years or a lifetime to bring their families over. These men became, in essence, male slaves. In Europe, between the time of the Roman Empire and the Middle Ages, it was common for men to need financial protection - so they sold themselves to lords. A ceremony developed involving the vassal taking vows, the count asking if the vassal wished to be his man, and both kissing to seal their vows. The vassal, though, was required to do one thing for the owner that women rarely do for their husbands: consider it an honor to die to protect him. If men didn’t have the power, why was property often passed down through men? Because men were responsible to provide property. Property was one of men’s contributions to eligibility just as fertility and children were among women’s contribution to eligibility. Men had property rights to take care of property responsibilities. Social pressure got most men to provide a wife with as much property as he himself had; and the taboo on divorce prevented a woman from losing the property before her husband did. Women, then, were both equal to property and more than equal to men - and, therefore, on a pedestal.

This was very necessary for us to hear. Thank you, and keep shedding light on this dangerous path. Islam is far too perfect to even be amalgamated with baseless and factually foolish things like redpill and/or feminism.

I see what you are doing with this video akhi. You are very smart Alhamdulila, for the approach you are taking with dealing with this situation. esp with what the topic is and who the other "groups" are that are commenting on the issue.
Subtle critism of Mohamed Hijab is on point. However, I would encourage the viewers to not fall into the trap of following a person that agree with your understanding , and all scholars or intellectuals in the Dawaa scene are not prophets they are normal human being that dedicate their life to spread the message of Islam. The main purpose is to worship god and follow his guidance and not worship a certain idea and public figure. Sometimes, lack of knowledge can lead you to clinge on a person ideas or his conclusion about something but always remember that the ultimate and objective truth is in the Quran and Sunnah. The only situation where I would encourage people to be harsh on certain public figures is if we are certain that they intentionally willing to create a "moderate" islamic model of our religion. However, mistakes are tolerated and normal discussions should resolve any sort of clash of understanding a certain ideology especially with Mohammed Hijab and Haqiqatjou. As long as we do not have clear cut evidence that a certain person is intentionally trying to corrupt our Aqeedah I advise to resolve the disagreement in a civil way like our Salaf did, and I will quote Imam Malik how he treated and considered other Imams who explicitly clash on certain issues about Fiqh but they kept it civil and never harmed the Ummah but giving a bad example as they are considred to be the intellectual knowledgeable role model.

What qualifies you to encourage or discourage anything? What knowledge of Islam do you have? Or do you think that anyone can contribute their "two cents" in our religion? What field of knowledge allows any layman to speak their mind? This is part of our problem. Every Ahmad ,Zayd and Khalid thinks it's okay to speak on Islām. SMH.

What's interesting is that when the wife and husband are both religious and practicing the leadership's role of the husband is less nessecery/prominent and a balanced partnership emerges. This is my experience of 21 year marriage Elhamdoulillah. Off course this is a process that takes time, trust, knowledge and most importantly imaan. May Allah bless and guide us all. In addition: The reason for that is that (almost) all the decisions we make are in light of the Islam and Allah's legislation. It's not my subjective opinion but an objective framework.
