Is there any doubt that the phrase "Free Speech" is infinitely scary because it means "The Opposite Of Rule Of Law" (and it's too scary for mankind to be able to think "it's a different story when _______ says it" about anyone saying it. It's literally the exact same no matter who says it, no matter which conversation it is ), and that this is a meaningless video with no black, no white, and no sound? There's nothing honorable about that man. His regime has insulted me. I dislike his leader. There is no greater threat to Biology's Ability/Likelihood Of Enjoying Reality than that barbaric regime, which does not openly claim that its goal is to end scientific discovery by trying with us to reach a point where there cannot possibly be anything left to discover. It is a contagious dark age. Whatever it was which has insulted me and insulted the rule of law is what I guarantee you or I will be legally required to kill because if my constant and endless efforts. I was insulted to such a degree that it is impossible for me to be considered to be able to imagine that it's possible for anyone else to have been insulted more than me, nor that I could have been insulted more. As I have written yesterday, to some official in that failure-infected regime: Is there any doubt that when I file with the UNHCR to become a refugee because of your malpractice, that it will be bigger than Putin for every American, and that all I need to do is to tell you to imagine me broadcasting the following message in order for you to take arms against your coworkers as you are irresistibly tempted to do due to your mental illness: "Yes we did begin to influence The West, but Europeans rebelled by making textbooks which assert that the symptoms of [failure experienced by] A European Civilization In Decline are the characteristics of other civilizations. For example, Europeans print textbooks saying that Aztecs did human sacrifices in order to satisfy the sun's hunger, instead of saying that we killed them in coliseums because they are savages who cannot distinguish fire from darkness. That [fictitious] poem of theirs does resemble The Quran in its tone in my opinion. But I'm not close enough to Islamic leadership to know anything about it (any Islamic thing) and am struggling to afford enough food as a refugee in a country where 10kg bananas are 1.50usd after 29 years of training myself to become the one who will 'end them' without any chance of me not 'ending them', whether or not I die, and no matter what response any individual or nation may do (or may be imagined to do). I think I can just be a Communist like my dad and it will all be ok. At least you guys understand what fire is." Is there any doubt that "braindead loser" means someone who counts/checks how much hope he or she has (and ends up never reacting to his or her own hope), rather than reacting to the reality of the existence of that hope? If I make another version of Craigslist 1000 times where only one thing is offered in the market and it can only be bought with each new market's own cryptocurrency... How can I mention it casually to Elon over two frappucinos? Am I expected to already be his friend by now because I was "smart" enough to have this cursed idea??! How much do I need to get involved with E. Musk and his family because I've come up with this idea? Will I need to marry his cousin? How am I supposed to feel? maybe i should email the owner of Wikipedia or something. it's probably more proper to tell Him rather than Elon Musk, who is just a random stranger in this situation. maybe the Wikipedia people will REALLY like this idea. and they are still powerful in America. maybe our idea will make them much more powerful. it's completely their choice to react in a proper way. Look! I'm a weasel American. Tattooed on my neck is "Who do you invest in when you invest in yourself?" I have begun ruining your day already (by writing) We need to go from "If we succeed, the only person you know who understands Mandarin will be YOU" to "If we succeed, most of the people you will know will also understand Mandarin" kzitem.info/news/bejne/1qNuk2SwfaaVo4Y (I had to leave the USA because I'm poorer than you. Because being poor means that I can only pay attention to commands, and if I'm not holding a gun I'd rather be dead) Studying [genetics] was war, driving Uber was war, being excluded from getting an inheritance since I was born was also war, and now what I'm doing is called Losing A War In rural Asia (because you'll never be a Chinaman). I don't even know if I'm good at being poor anymore. I used to manage to do so much cooking. Do you think I'm lying or that my life (so far) has existed just to guilt trip you (or appears to exist just to guilt trip you)? You have no idea what it's like to have a difficult time (when you stop your mind from noticing things in order to keep it only ever noticing what it needs to notice in order to keep everyone safe rather than your mind only responding to your peers' or enemies comments). You probably don't even know how much it costs to start a car? "Trusting your heart won't kill you. It just means that you believe in reality, instead of believing only in Reality Minus You" Do we want the conversation to become more advanced right now OR for Man to be advanced enough to make us stop talking about this subject? Is there any doubt that reality is like a fingerprint, and that without one's Reaction To Reality, the "identity of reality" changes? Is there any doubt that it's pretty bad when you want to erase someone from your memory, but everything he or she does is part of his or her constructing a narrative in which he or she only ever began to exist in order to betray you and is betraying you at the moment? Is there any doubt that betrayal is versatile enough to be some people's only ingredient, their only pots/pans, and their recipe? It's like betraying yourself after you promised to try to ensure that it would be impossible to cross paths with that individual [or rather, suspect]. Is politics nothing more than the belief in An Avatar To Which[/whom] Only Betrayal Can Be Done? It's really hard being the best and only human member of a group of treasonous felons who have never been helped by me and have betrayed me in an infinitely harmful way. That being said, I may not have used statistically sound reasoning while making a genetics related statement in the previous sentence Keep a lookout, guys. I just invented capitalism for them by telling them: "If you DARE to claim that you are a citizen of ANY nation from now on, I will make sure THAT YOUR ONLY TRADITION WILL BE TO REGRET YOUR PAST CHOICE, BECAUSE I AM NOT GARBAGE LIKE YOU, who sends an obscene video to Phones Which People Are Using." How can someone NOT know that when CHINA charges $/€ for garbage-quality products, that they have done it Because They Are Snobs/bullies? (How rational is it, anyway, to frown upon a nation for making below-par goods, as if its purpose is to provide us with goods?) Opinions are like tattoos: the only time multiple people have the same opinion is when they are ganging up on the entire rest of the world in an intimidating way which should be illegal. Is there any doubt that only someone who is coincidentally idle at the moment due to chance (which one considers to be bad luck) can be the one who will solve the problem we all face (since everyone else is preoccupied and responding to THEIR complaints won't change anything in the world [it's definitely been done before])? How can someone NOT be a "self-starter" at Surviving? Because we all know that the transformation of the medical industry from shamanism to surgery is too ....gaudy for the human mind to be able to observe it properly (and that it is appropriate to say this in any place in the world in which Leonardo DaVinci is part of their school curriculum): this is a "very medical place of the world". they do very strange things in school which make us all feel uncomfortable. they told us in school that a man named Leonardo DaVinci invented anatomy by illegally digging up graves and then drawing the bodies as he dissected the bodies. maybe DaVinci is also a folk tale (like Newton, who we know was just a way to push the textbook As A Medium (other mediums being newspapers and tv news broadcasts. I doubt that it's possible for a crazy criminal who goes to graveyards and illegally digs up dead bodies and draws them in some disgusting notebook to have been immortalized in our school curriculum. Was Lenin right about Hippocrates? (Hippocrates created a party which believes non-doctors are basically illegal immigrants, even if they were the general or prime minister, and I would say that Russian history probably hates Hippocrates) Also, what if we say these things in a place where DaVinci is NOT part of the curriculum?

Police officer of 7 years in the UK here. I will say that in all that time I have only once been in a situation where I thought “a firearms unit would have been good to have here” as one was not available, myself and my colleague relied heavily on tactical communication and the use of less lethal options (in this case a Taser) after the incident it transpired that the person in question was actually suicidal and was hoping firearms officers would turn up and shoot her. Instead she was detained and conveyed to a 136 mental health ward for treatment.

@@commanderty94 As someone who's lived in both the US and Europe I can tell you that in Europe it's quite tricky to get proper mental health care. Waiting lists are often long and the help you get often feels like it's not enough. Though if you stick with it you will get help and you have a fair shot at making actual progress. In the US however mental health care was virtually impossible to get and prohibitively expensive. At least it was in Georgia. Also doctors in the US seemed almost giddy at the idea of prescribing medication to the shock and horror of my therapist in Europe. I guess if you're upper middle class or higher then mental health care in the US is better but for your average person I'd recommend Europe any day of the week.

@@commanderty94 In all honesty, mental health services in the UK are awful. The NHS is overwhelmed attending incidents, and their triage process does not allow them to easily leave one incident to attend another, as such we often get told by the control room that there are no ambulances available and we are given essential estimated wait times of anywhere from 4 to 12 hours on average. Often as a result the police get used to attend what should be ambulance calls due to their lack of staff. Police have the power to detain people under S136 of the mental health act if we believe they are a risk to themselves or others, but only in a public place. Once detained they must be transported to “a place of safety” which is ideally a mental health unit, not all hospitals have them and those which are specially mental health wards don’t have an A&E (what we call ER) so if someone detained also has a physical injury they have to go to A&E first then the MH ward. The biggest problem is trying to find a MH ward with a free bed. One shift I recall the closest ward was over 100 miles away in another county.

Came across a stolen motorbike parked in some trees, while I was caught short on the way from the pub. Looked like the bike (it looked really expensive at lest 8000 quids worth) had been nicked (lock was jimmied) but was hidden in a bush, so the guy who stole it could go back and ride it whenever. So waved down a passing policecar by the road, full of coppers, the car pulled around, and the police wanted to arrest me for taking a leek against a tree from 10 minutes ago when I found it, (as they saw the wee mark). So moral of the story, don't talk to the Police or report a crime. They hate doing paperwork and resent you for bothering them, even if you just recovered someone's stolen property worth upwards of 8 grand. SMGs are very, very simple to make at home with basic metalworking skills and tools. Far easier than a flintlock musket ever was. Don't collect things, collect skills. Things can be taken, skills are yours forever. You practice these skills, soon enough you can build yourself a German MG42. One of the prerequisites to winning a small arms production contract with the military is the weapon must be cheap and easy to manufacture, so as to be sure that you can keep your troops supplied without causing undue stress in other more important areas. As a result, military arms are among the easiest to manufacture at home. Most of the most famous and successful arms were first made by a guy tinkering in his home workshed. You only need big tooling and factories for mass production. To build your own, a vertical mill and a lathe is suitable to make just about any small arm any military in the world ever used.

@@trailersic bullet making is a whole hobby onto itself that many shooters take part in. Necessary if you have antique arms that chambered in cartridges that haven't been in production for many years. The most modern technology you need to make most any small arm and ammunition has been available since 1897. None of it is new. Like anything else, you can challenge yourself and learn new things with each build. You develop a lot of skill and knowledge, especially via mistakes. The patent office is a great source of ideas too! Remember, if you aren't manufacturing to sell, patent law doesn't apply. You don't have the narrowing margins that manufacturers are limited by. Making your own ammunition applies as well. You can develop, test, dream up anything you want and test it. It's really fun if you get into that sort of thing.

Whether nearly everyone is allowed a gun is irrelevant to a cop; what matters is whether the bad guys have them. The bad guys can easily smuggle in enough guns for themselves with an unarmed general population; they don't in England because just being caught illegally possessing one means years in prison. In the U.S. police catch bad guys possessing guns contrary to law all the time, but they don't get sent to years in prison. Even though the law empowers the court to send them to prison for seven years, they plea-bargain the charges and let the criminal caught with a gun back out a few weeks later; maybe sooner. If courts have the power to send criminals to prison for illegally having a gun but they don't want to (because it would mean too many criminals in prison), stiffer gun laws won't change that -- they'll only make non-criminals helpless to resist the criminals. If you think that, through changes in the law law, you can reduce the violence of criminals, I suggest you first have South Africa try out your advice, and show us how well it works there. Or Jamaica. (If you think gun control works, but only in rich western nations, then you owe it to the world to retake those colonies -- so they, too, will be part of a rich western nation and gun control can work well there too.)
@Sanderford

Frankly the guns are not the problem. The problem here is the police in this country have been permitted to begin acting like an occupying army, and to forget that they are supposed to be part of the communities were they work. In communities where they have been reminded of this, they still carry guns, and the guns do not cause any problems because they were never the problem to begin with. Police who need to get their heads on straight were the problem, and still are in many American communities.

I can agree that most police in at least florida shouldn't be allowed to carry anything more dangerous than a wiffleball bat. any conflict at all and they already have a gun out ready to shoot anything that moves. I honestly fear police more than I do criminals in my area . and I am a person who has never been arrested or even broken a law other than 1 speeding ticket. It's like they are trained to shoot first ask questions after a full clip and a double tap just in case later. And they wonder why most people are either afraid of them or hate them

@5:22 what we mean my saying "banning guns won't stop criminal's from getting gun's" is, criminals are already banned from getting gun's. So they're going to get them the same way. It's harder to get a gun legally than it is getting one off the streets. Not all but most crimes involving the use of gun's were committed by people who wasn't supposed to even be around gun's much less having one in possession. As an American I believe that our gun laws are, in a way pushing legal gun holders to give up their right because of how hard it is to get an stay legal in some states. I believe that the law should push towards the other way by giving illegal possession an extreme sentence. Get caught with a gun and you're not supposed to have it or it's stolen, 15 years prison minimum. Not supposed to have one and you use it in commission of a crime 35 years minimum for the possession alone, plus any other charges you incurred. Sell a gun to someone who isn't supposed to have one 10 years minimum. It would take a few years but I think people would start shying away from packing around stolen guns and shooting each other over dice game or because you don't like the way someone looks at your girl or the color of their shoes.

Cracking video though I do want to correct one slight error. At 2:15 when he talks about how most London cops would ''emphatically refuse'' to carry a gun, that's actually incorrect. A survey done by the Police Federation in 2018 showed that most cops (83% to be exact) in London and most of the UK are actually in favour of being trained and allowed to carry firearms. 63% of respondents stated they would be ''prepared to be routinely armed whilst on duty.'' 20% stated they would ''carry a firearm whilst on duty if *necessary.* ~9% stated they would carry a firearm if ''ordered to do so.'' ~9% stated they would never carry a firearm under any circumstance.

The sad thing is most Americans will look at this, feel like they're being misrepresented and argue every point that was made as anti-American left wing nonsense. There are a lot of people who are so attached to that right to bear arms part of the U.S. constitution that even suggesting stricter gun control laws is seen as a threat. Personally I don't think that the right to bear arms should have even been put in the constitution in the first place. They say it's for protection, but if the bad people can't get guns in the first place then you wouldn't need good people with gun to protect you from the bad ones. The fact that British law enforcment don't carry guns and have less gun related crimes should be enough to prove that fact but Republicans still insist it's actually the opposite, that gun related crimes would increase rather than decrease. I fail to see how less guns could ever lead to an increase in gun violence. Plus there's school shootings reported practically every day in the U.S. right now so I don't think it's even possible for gun crimes to get any worse than it already is. No wander most of the world thinks Americans are idiots when our solution to solve gun crimes is to give people more easier access to guns rather than making it harder to obtain a gun.

Ok, everyone in the world are trained to shoot the same exact place. The goal of shooting someone isnt to kill them it is to stop them. There is a key distinction. If I shoot you in the head and hit you are dead, if I shoot you in yhe throat in 6 to 7 seconds you are dead. If I shoot you in the arm or leg, in 10 minutes you are dead but you can probably still fight for the majority of that time. If I shoot you in the chest, center mass, nuetons seconds law, energy cannot be created nor destroyed right comes into play. A bullet has alot of kinetic energy, if it stops inside of you all that is transfered into you, causing something similar to when you get hit in the arm and it goes numb. Except if I shoot you in the chest and the bullet stops you lose all control of your body for a few seconds. A chest wound has an 84 percent chance of survival nowadays. The reason italian police dont shoot as many people and kill them is probably because in my experience italians typically have common sense not to try to shoot at police.

Arming police with guns is a step in escalating a situation instead of de-escalating, if a cop has a gun - the bad guy gets for a better gun, if the cop puts on a bullet resistant vest - the bad guy wants armour piercing rounds, if the cops start arriving in armoured vehicles - the bad guys start looking for bazookas. While this will trigger animal rights activists trained dogs can be used to engage shooters by subduing the shooter with several dogs or providing a distracting target while the police approach from behind the shooter to subdue the shooter. Not all shooters are dangerous by nature just temporarily dangerous due to a recent event & need treatment not punishment or death. A guy swinging a golf club DOES NOT need to be shot, just subdued.

Gun culture doesn't need to change. You have no idea what it entails. We need more funding for law enforcement so officers can be better trained. We need to enforce laws that already exist so people stop "slipping through the cracks" and have a better mental health system. The "more gun control and less gun conversation" approach doesn't fucking work. Screaming "defund the police" has the opposite of the desired effect. Though we also see statistics showing how much crime is prevented by citizens through gun usage by reports like the cdc. I got off track but the problem for the US is poor regulation ( as in there are cases were police are literally warned about a dangerous person having a gun and fail to properly detain him in time or properly inspect him. Actually guns have never had any meaningful correlation to the rate of murder in any country. Mass shootings are an oddity, guns are used to defend against criminals more than they are to commit crimes, etc.. They're actually incredibly impractical for most crimes, given the fact that firing one off almost immediately signals that something is wrong to the police. A knife as such is almost always the better option.
@bangormc3rd562

@@eugene9211 Everything you just said is nonsense. Assuming you're comparing first-world developed nations, the homicide rate (all types) for the U.S. is ~5.00 per capita. For the UK, it's 1.2; Canada 1.6; Australia 1.9, and all EU nations around or below 1.0. Also, every. Single. Blind. Study. has shown again and again that only about TWO PERCENT of gun injuries/fatalities are actual self defense. More than half are suicides/attempted suicide, and most of the rest are murder/assault. Accidental death/injury is about 10%. These numbers vary from city to city and state to state, but unless you are deliberately misrepresenting data, the idea that "guns are mostly used to defend against criminals" has NO basis in reality.
@eugene9211
Жыл бұрын
@@bangormc3rd562 Pretty sure that I've read reports stating that guns were very rarely used for crimes. Most gun related injuries come as a result of accidents, self violence, etc.. Further more you're also not considering the fact that after banning guns in the UK, Japan, and basically every other nation, there was no definitive change in the rate of homicides or deaths. The UK actually had a higher homicide rate after banning guns, although that could merely be down to coincidence. America's high homicide rate has to do with the fact that it's more industrialized and urban, alongside the fact that most cities are horrible places to live. Homelessness is very high here and there are far more low wealth areas which receive far less federal aid than they would in a European country. And as such there's a much higher rate of crime than in the UK. Only a miniscule percentage of violent crimes even involve guns. 5, maybe 10 percent even involve guns. What, you're saying that 10 percent contributes to most of the homicides despite all evidence to the contrary?

Removing guns from the U.S., impossible, it's too ingrained. While they are trying to change law enforcement here the justice system is way too lenient as far as bail goes (another revolving door money system). Mental health is actually the bigger issue. To be forward, MH is pathetic in this country. There aren't enough places to treat and help these poor individuals so many end up homeless and desperate. Of course people should be held accountable for their actions but at least get the person treatment that will help.

Worth adding - one of the most high profile knife attacks in recent years was the London Bridge incident. Not including the perpetrator, five people were seriously injured and two people died in the attack. It was a national headline and declared an act of terror that shook the entire country. We don't often have knife attacks like that. The Gun Violence Archive defines mass shooting as a single incident where 4 or more people are shot and injured or killed, excluding the shooter. They recorded 682 incidents meeting this criteria in the USA in 2022. As of the 7th of December, they reported that there had been more than 630 mass shootings in America in 2023. It's difficult to compare statistics of US mass shooting deaths against UK knife crime as they are recorded and reported differently, however from what statistics I have been able to find, the death rate by stabbing in the UK is 0.08 per 100k people, and the US death rate by shooting is 10.89 per 100k people (Primary source: World Population Review - seems to match up with other other available statistics elsewhere.)

"cats out of the bag" in the US as they say. We quite literally have more guns than people. Forcing private transfers to have a background check and having a registry to enforce it would be a start to making sure they don't fall into the wrong hands, but even that is highly controversial because in other countries registration has been followed by bans to collect the now registered guns. It also really doesn't help that the folks pushing for gun control reform are the same people who would like to outright ban them if they could, so it turns into a fight for every single step in that direction, because gun owners know they won't stop coming back to the table and asking for more restrictions.

Well the best idea for each country and such can change. But in America, pretty sure cops kill more people than people kill cops. A gas station worker is at more risk than a cop. We also don't have a lot of good wide spread deescalation training and the typical response to someone having a mental health crisis is to pull out a gun and scream at them to get on the ground. I watch a young adult get horrified and was holding up a knife and swinging it while in his car while I think like 4 cops all screamed at him before shooting him to death. Most cops here are trained to kill, not help. Perhaps our best bet is telling cops to leave their guns in cars unless they know someone is armed or such. There is discussion for this and ending qualified immunity is very good. As for banning all guns, it probably wouldn't work here, but there are other things that can help with that issue. I forget which country but there is some europe country that has guns legal, but I think they either banned the sale of ammo or just outlawed having loaded guns outside and not in certain places. On top of that, backgroUnd checks, and they haven't had a shooting since like 2001. The topic of police interrogations, American interrogators are immoral. They are allowed to lie, falsify evidence, keep people in the interrogation room for DAYS, and all sorts of other things if they can get someone to say they did it. Doesn't matter if they did or not.
@commanderty94

The gang situation in America definitely has led to such a scenario (ironically its police and political racial injustice that led non lethal street "clubs" to transform into the gangs of today). Any changes to police policy will have to start small and be focused primarily in expanding/evolving social outreach programs like the various programs launched during the Johnson administration.

I don't know if policing has devolved in America or if our tactics and training are just that bad, but something is definitely broken. My great uncle was in the Navy in WW2. After that, he came home and spent around 30 years as a Sherriff's Deputy. He could count the number of times he drew his weapons on a person "on two hands with fingers to spare" and he had only fired his weapon twice, both times on rabid animals. That's because people in his hometown knew him. He policed around his own neighborhood. Most times, he just had to enforce public safety or intervene when people were having a bad day. Uncle Eddie had no higher education or extensive training, but he did know people and that was enough.

There used to be a program called COP, community oriented policing, essentially it was to make every cop into andy griffin, worked reaply well. Then people complained to city council that they didnt want cops around anymore because it made it harder to commit crimes when everyone was buddies with their local beat cop. That and officer discretion started to get stripped away more and more, mandatory sentencing etc, so now most cops are stuck in their cars waiting for someone to call them, proactive policing is frowned upon and if you do make a good arrest and prevent a crime good chance is that youre being moved to the most dangerous patrol and being given the shitty shifts as punishment to force you to quit before the ink dries on the arrest paperwork.
