Fee Waybill asking important questions. LOL. What do you want from life? A baby's arm holding an apple. The Tubes were one of the quirkiest bands to ever walk on a stage.

this song always cracks me up. "a personally autographed picture of randy mantooth!" who today even knows who he was,and back then why did the tubes feel that was important? it boggles the mind! their debut album is great start to finish. you gotta do "white punks on dope"! they also put on one of the greatest live shows of any band. fee waybill does a dozen or more costume changes to fit the theme of each song. now that james brown is gone fee has become the hardest working man in show business. he's an amazing front man. looking forward to more tubes!

I was working at a department store when this came out back in the mid 70's. I got a small mannequin arm that was being thrown out and mounted a plastic apple in the hand... I have it to this day! If you haven't already done so, check out White Punks On Dope from the same album.

Check out Boy Crazy. I have a weakness for great musicianship with a sense of humor. For their more serious side, listen to I Don't Want to Wait Anymore, with a visual pun (Spooner, was it?) Looking like he was WADING.

Such a great tune. I wore this record out back then. I would play it for friends and we would always crack up as Fee got more manic - "A Mastodon! A Montego! A new MONZA!.." When it came to outrageous the Tubes were like, Go Big Or Go Home. Spot on reaction as always, ya nailed it. Who else would react to this? Nobody, that's who

The obvious requests (the songs that made the Tubes famous) are...White Punks on Dope , Don't Touch me There , and from thier last hits One in a Million, and Talk to Ya Later. And the Tubes fans understand that YOU...(yes,BizMatik...you)... are going to watch those ones first You'll see the amount of "watches" that they've gotten on youtube, and say..."ok, these are the ones I gotta do" So, you go on and get it over with, then ... watch those 4 there... and then I'll start suggesting the ACTUAL interesting,,, and Funkiest... songs of The Tubes. I saw them live in 1981, by the way.
