Without question this is the BEST guide I have seen, thus far, on KZitem on the Turkish get-up. It is clear to me that you gave a great deal of thought on how to precisely communicate the intricacies of the lift. And, the filming and the editing of the video is incredibly professional.

Videos on TGU are always welcome! I do it “windshield wipe” as you say in 9:42 because of space but have become used to it. It feels really solid with the right but with the left I still have trouble and haven’t found out the difference. I will need to record me from different angles to spot what’s going on. Anyway left is my weak side, so it always feels different.

Yep - nothing wrong with the windshield and I even still do it depending on the ground surface. Of course, you could also do a combination of each - a few degrees turn of the rear knee and the rest with the front leg!

Interested in whether or not the hing/dip is necessary or if it's a function of mobility? I don't personally find the need to hinge/dip to change from open hip lunge to hand on the ground

It's definitely not a mandatory technique (especially with light weights). Nor is it a function of mobility - simply a way to shift the load from hand to hip.

Zack, I absolutely love your tutorial videos. I’ve been training with kettlebells for years and this gave me a few pointers for improving my practice. Thank you brother!

Very very nice guide especially when he says "i still make mistakes" however he explain 10 times better than my ex p.t. There are a lots of p.t. out there that think that they'll are god and do not make any mistakes until one day you realise that they do not even write down progressions and weight of previous session and you let them go.

Brilliant, so clear and easy to follow taking time to explain the little things like alignment and using a range of examples.
