My PWI is super diverse so the dynamics will be VERY different. I’m only worried about the people coming from less diverse counties bc I can smell the racism off of them 😂 I’ve grown up in predominantly yt and second, Asian, spaces. Here are a few tips from my experiences: 1. Better know your worth. Don’t take ANY BS let people know you aren’t coming to play around with them and take whatever crazy mess they wanna tell you. 2. Beware the Beckie’s. They’ll try to be nice but keep them at an arms length. Only the very genuine ones. Other than that the majority cannot be trusted I’ve heard many stories and have had my own, bully experience… 3. Be interested in those who are interested in you. Don’t be so closed off. Literally the majority of my friends (pre college) were Asian (East and south) in one period of my life. It showed me a lot of differences and I learned a lot. But I also felt like I could relate to them in some way. AND don’t limit your dating options. Don’t be “loyal” to anyone. Only yourself. Thank God I live in a good state and good region
