What's up Everyone!
In this video, I go over how I built a new craps practice table and throwing station.
Materials:
• 1 - 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood - (cut to 70” by 33”)
• 3 - 3 ft. 1” x 12” boards (you can buy these in longer boards and cut to size if you wish)
• 4 - 8ft. 2” x 4”
• Craps table layout
• Felt / vinyl (choice of underlay) cut to size
• 1 can spray adhesive
• Wood glue
• Screws - 1 box 2” screws, 1 box 3” screws
• 3 hinges with screws (3.5” hinges)
Process of putting the table together
1. Cutting Wood Pieces to size
a. 2” x 4”
i. 2 pieces cut to 5 ft. (60 in)
ii. 2 pieces cut to 32in (just over 2.5ft)
iii. 4 pieces cut to 28in
b. Sheet of plywood
i. Cut to 70” x 33” (felt is 72” x 36”)
c. Sidewalls and backwall
i. 1” x 12” - Cut one to 33” and then in half (16.5”)
ii. Other two boards were left at 36”
iii. Hinges will be added later (easier storage) you can make this a solid structure if you prefer)
2. Stretching the fabrics and table surface
3. Putting it all together
4. Now, go have fun!
