they get crushed badly on a track, but yea in a straight sprint it's hard to compete with such a vehicle. But then drag racing is boring, even the funny cars that would have won this race before the other cars moved past their nose's starting point I doubt the f1 car launches at even remotely close to capacity. The difference between launch speed when you're riding the edge of the tires and just barely keeping it straight or not is staggering. Like double the speed getting to the first turn in the nurburgring

Yeah they have Electronics on then that are insane. You can pretty much full throttle and dump the clutch and the computer will make sure wheels don't spin out or then front wheel doesn't lift too high

Mainly for the uninformed as well since I saw some people asking what it was. Red Bull are very good at what they do especially in the world of F1 but not everything they race is designed by them. KTM Designed the bike, Ford the Van, M-Sport built the R1 Ford Puma Rally Car, and the Peugeot 208 RX car was built by Hansen Motorsport. the only thing there that was built Bespoke by Redbull was the F1 Chassis.

@Anthony Luc That's probably the best the tires could sustain, motogp bikes have around 300hp and weight next to nothing sub 200kg, it was lowered in launch mode that's why it looks like that, otherwise it probably would be even slower at the start to try not to wheelie.
