This is unrelated to this video but I just wanted to say thank you for your videos. There aren't a lot of creators out there that specifically focus on the ins and outs of Bambu Studio and your channel is my go-to for learning about it. Keep it up man, you rock!

Perfect! These are quick and easy! Just add a small negative part cylinder in the corner and you have a hole for a key ring!

Wow that’s fast and easy. I’ve been wanting to make some name signs for kid but been intimidated since it’s so frustrating when you are learning and it’s not working out and you’ve spent hours trying to figure it out.

Right I get that, so frustrating. I really do like this method. Simple and kids will absolutely love them.

Great video. Thank you. What's the reason for the initial primitive? Just to have the text touch something?
@bambamprint

The text needs to be placed on an object in order for it to work. So I lay down a "base" add my text and remove it.

First love you video you have helped me grow in my 3d print life. Just to let you know I added a Text to my computer, and it added to my Bambu Studio. I loaded Waltograph.

Ya I honestly think that it may matter depending upon which type of font it is. Open type or others... I am still trying to understand. I am a graphic artist as well so I have 1000's of fonts but not all of them work in Bambu Studio.

Cool. I used to add text to a base then drop the base below the plate, or cut it. I didn't know you could just delete the base.

With fonts ctl- shift and right click then install for all users and it then works in Bambu studio text 👍🏻

OH!!! You can stand it on edge......now to figure out how to curve it.....
@TheFlamingEyeball

OH...man....you can put text on a cylinder, then delete the cylinder and you would have a standing text that is curved......what a cool idea!

I was trying to do something the other day in Bambu studio. And I wanted to bend the text. Is this possible.? As I couldn’t find a setting to do so. I know it bends around objects when placed on say like a sphere ect.
@bambamprint
Ай бұрын
Your best bet is to use a cylinder and bend it around that. Once you have it how you want you can right click on the cylinder in the left hand side panel layer and hit delete.

@@bambamprint I want the writing in a vertical plane. On like a flat surface not wrapped around the object if that makes sense. I think I know what you mean. I’ll have a go and see if that works. Thanks for your help mate. Appreciate it.
