I would love for Geoff to do more of this vintage stuff myself, but unfortunately, I'm not so sure Geoff is completely on board for it. He just recently traded a Mantle rookie and Ruth Goudey cards for a Steph Curry RPA. I personally thought it was an idiotic trade, but that's just me. He used to do top five hottest vintage cards. I think that lasted maybe one or two episodes? Got a TON of support if I remember correctly. Geoff just never pursued it, though. I think he's more into modern. I have even tried commenting to get him more onto vintage where he does a 500.00 spending challenge on vintage instead of modern. He liked my comment, but again, never pursued it.

@@vintagecollector5340 To be fair, at least it was someone like Steph Curry and not Luka or even Wembanyama lol

@@ragingpirate5727 True, but let's be honest: these guys are all about speculation on modern stuff, too.

I have a bunch of 1990s Type 1 Photos I believe of Michael Jordan and it seems as if it makes sense to get them slabbed, however the entire slabbing process could take months and cost upwards of $100 a card... not sure if it's worth to sell as-is or risk it and send them in and they don't come back as type 1

You can’t if they use the same photography paper.

It's not too late. There's still some affordable ones on the market. I have original rookie Mays photos and early photos of him in general that need graded. I'm sure glad I still have them, considering times have been tough.

Excellent informative video. I wonder if there is a price guide somewhere for Type 1 photos?

I've yet to found one, but would love to find one. It'll be hard to find a price guide for all photos, though, considering most are extremely rare.

Great video with suck amazing stories! Please be mindful to edit out incorrect information. Jackie Robinson is not “the first black player in baseball”. Sorry dont mean to be negative, that just kinda bugged me. Keep up the amazing work you all do!!
