Do you change between light metering modes or do you stick with only one?

Hi Danielle, best of luck on your new endeavor. I'm sure C4 Photo Safaris will be a tremendous success. I can't remember when I last used an auto-exposure mode or exposure compensation. Both confuse and frustrate me, and I find the process far less rewarding. I prefer to think for myself, therefore my camera is always set to manual.

All the very best to you And the new venture and for the videos, they are so helpful to the rest of us and the basics can never be repeated often enough. I dream of a photo safari in Botswana - I am doing my best to master the challenges of photography in the Canadian winters!!!

Hello Christopher - great to see you here. Thanks so much for the kind words. And I dream of photographing wildlife in snow 😀. But Botswana safari is definitely a bucket list trip to do, I've never met anyone who has regretted it. Hope you can make it happen! -Danielle

@@C4PhotoSafaris Hello Danielle, That must be my little Sherlock side 😉 I guess…. I remember « your past », and … some icons don’t lie ! (Now if I am wrong on the latter, this will be my day of absolute embarrassment! 😂)
