Brandon Kessler is the CEO and founder of Devpost. Their mission is to inspire the world’s developers to build great software. Devpost powers the majority of public and private hackathons (software competitions) around the globe. Their user base is a global community of software developers, and their paying customers want to promote their developer tools, or engage their software developer employees. Before Devpost, Brandon founded a record label in his dorm room and ran it for 12 years. He has undergraduate and MBA degrees from Columbia University.
Jon Gottfried is the Head of Partnerships and co-founder of Major League Hacking, the largest community of early career developers in the world. Jon previously worked as a Developer Evangelist at Twilio and Echo Nest, served as National Director for StartupBus, and co-created the Hacker Union. Jon loves creating new technology and teaching people to do the same. He graduated from SUNY Stony Brook University in 2011 and was recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 for Education and the Stony Brook University 40 Under 40 for Entrepreneurship.
Swift is the co-founder and CEO of Major League Hacking, the world’s largest community for early-career developers. Prior to that, he was the first Developer Evangelist at SendGrid and a full-time Software Engineer at various startups. He is an authority on educating developers, building developer communities, and the intersection of open source and education.
