I love mine (2018 sedan) and I bought a set of 18x8.5 König Dekagrams from y’all about a year and a half ago wrapped in some federals. If you’re going to go the route of lowering springs there are a gang of options. If you want it to be SLAMMED slammed, go with the D2’s. If you want it to be a little slammed but not completely scrape on a leaf, go with Swift Spec R’s. These are the auto crossing springs for sure. Decent ride quality, although stiffer than stock and about a 2” drop in ride height. These also have air suspension and full coil overs but these kits are expensive and require the bypass chip if you want sport mode’s other functions to work. (I.e. better throttle response and better steering engagement.) If you’re seeking power, the best things to do would be a combo of a front pipe/down pipe (high flow catted option if you live in a state with stricter emissions laws like I do) PRL big turbo kit, E85 conversion kit, intercooler, stage 2 or CTR retrofit clutch and a K Tuner/ Hondata combined with getting it onto a dyno. This will result in the potential for 350+ whp with basic tune as long as you have those bolt ons. If you want bigger numbers prepare to build your head and block out a lil bit. There are already companies making stronger internals like valve springs and pistons and I’ve seen a few people blow these cars up by tryna run launch control maps on stock internals. Don’t push 30-40lbs of boost without upgrading the internals or you will run into problems. lol. That can be said for almost any car, but @PhongVLG blew his shit up twice so just keep it in mind. Alternatively, if you just want to go for a stanky street build and push around 300-350hp max, the 27Won big turbo v1 or v2(not out yet) is an accessible option. These are basically straight bolt on turbos and retain the stock housing size, but with bigger internals. Extra 25-50 hp depending on the tune from what I’ve seen on forums. KTuner or Hondata are going to give you the most noticeable gains, even on stock everything, but combine those bolt ons and one of the GReddy exhausts (I have a 3” DD-R and would say it sounds pretty good. Not too droney on hwy driving and louder than stock. Nice pops and crackles too. Deep tone) and you have a spunky lil street car. It’ll gap some larger displacement cars too if setup correctly.

I think that you should try and get your hands on a 9th gen v6 6mt coupe accord and see how that handles. Definitely better than any civic I've ever driven. It may not come turbo charged but a N/A v6 pushing around 245whp is nothing to scoff at. I would love to see a buyers guide too because it's easier to get your hands on a mint 2006 s2000 than any year 9th gen exl v6 6mt coupe accord.

Before and had a SIR , 2007 coup si and a 2012 coup si. After that I got bored and got a accord with the v6 3.5. But this year I got interested again to buy another civic. I was thinking getting a 2015 coup si because the last gen didn’t have VTEC. But I’m so glad to change my mind and got a 2017 coup si. I still miss some time the thrill when the VTEC pop, but the trade off for getting a more usable range band of power was worth it. What I means is to get your surge of power around 2800 rpm make it easier to use it while driving anywhere even in town.

I've had my Si for a little over two years now. Ever since I was a kid all I wanted to do was modify a Civic. This is my first car and it's brought me way deep down the rabbit hole of the car scene and I can't thank it enough After a ton of cosmetic upgrades including a faux Type R wing, and a large itasha wrap, I did some engine work including a new intake, TSP Stage 1+ tune, and the full AWE Track Exhaust. My car runs great BUT there's something up I'm still trying to figure out. When I floor it, my dash lights up and my turbo shuts off. Probably because the car is either getting an excess amount of air, or I need to take off the bypass valve adapter generating the PSHH sound. I end up having to do the restart on the car (6 to 7 times) to clear the dash and then the car runs fine again. Some say its a defect in the computer that Honda needs to update the system or something like that Overall, this car is great and its the best gateway into the car scene. I own my main (2018) Si, an EP3 Si but I'm holding out for the new WRX as well

own a 2020 si sedan myself, the blind spot mirror you can always turn that off in the menus so u can manually control when it comes on, personally i dont use it. These arent the cars for big power but are perfect for taking corners and hitting autocross/track days because the handling is spot on, all you need are better tires. I run lowering springs as well and with the adaptive dampening, it’s capable of handling corners. I also like the look, sucks though that only the 2020 si came with LED headlights. Lastly for the money you get a reliable car with all the latest tech, great mpg, a sunroof, manual trans, and a turbo without breaking the bank.

I want to build a old manual transmission Honda up that has V-Tec but I also am tempted to buy a newer Civic SI or Civic Type R.

Why am I hearing that the stock clutch is the worst ever on one reviewer's video and on a different reviewer's video, it's the best thing ever? Mine (2017 coupe) is stock and it's a blast.

@@FitmentIndustries Absolutely! Its being built currently for time attack. Itll be a while till its finished though, thats for sure. The next mod is either slotted brake rotors and pads, or Ktuner. I kinda really wanna tune it first now. After those two mods its gonna be some aero. Looking into a custom wing from NineLivesRacing and a splitter as well. Slowly but surely getting there👍

best option to go for this for racing is most likely Autox. The Civic type R is 1 of the best for that class im sure the Si is good as well.

I’ll probably buy one in like 5-6 yrs cause I’m working in order to make some money for a 90-91 Honda CRX SiR cause here in Europe SiR is pretty common Edit : They exist but no one sells them, so they aren’t rare but you nearly can’t buy one

I actually like the mirror with the camera but I hope it never breaks a you say it’s expensive 😂. That’s for the content. New subscriber here. I got the 2020 civic si sedan and I’m going for full bolt-on. I’m almost there just need a down pipe and need to upgrade my clutch. I’m feeling those wheels. Going to take a look at the website and see what I like. I’m looking for lighter wheels and I think red is a good color Hey thanks again 💕 the videos

If you are hitting 22psi boost then it’s not stock. Previous owner left a tune on it when they traded it in.

Get a 90s Civic Hatch. Way more aftermarket parts, way lighter, and will likely last just as long as the 10th gen. And I'm not trying to troll here either. I was looking to pick up a civic sport, but really, that 90s hatch value and aftermarket support.

You can turn off the right turn camera, I have mine off. I do wish it just had the mirror sensors. If I ever were to lose my right mirror, I would probably just put the regular mirror over the camera one.
