Great video, even as a GM Lucio I learned a few things. One thing you missed though is looking downward to avoid hitting your head. If you’re trying to make it through a doorway while in the air, you have to look downwards to avoid hitting your head and losing speed.

I can now do 1 ticks and late skims thanks to the knowledge you imparted. Wall jump on release has been annihilated. Also, I play on console, and for anyone else who does, I HIGHLY recommend cranking your sensitivity WAY up. As the video explains, the direction you face while hopping off a wall massively changes how you move. Ergo, high sensitivity allows you to face where you want to move and control exactly how you move. My sensitivity is 90 percent horizontal and 75 percent vertical, I have 2.5k games played and a 59 percent winrate.

Didn’t see if anyone mentioned this, but with the auto-wall-jump option turned on, you actually can just drop off the wall without the auto-jump if you press crouch. Along with the input pebbles gave on the console side, I would add that I personally have found the toggle speed boost to be helpful, it works relatively the same for when you want to rapidly switch between heals and speed but when you are just trying to heal I find it much easier to remember that you have a speed button and when it’s not pressed you heal instead of having to check or remember what you’re on every time.
