Makes complete sense that a case designed with minimalism and elegance would avoid having bright and flashy lights, it would completely clash with everything they are doing. Having RGB is really a case of whatever makes you happy, but it does not mean it's a well considered or good aesthetic, almost always it's a case of doing it because you can and as a marketing feature rather than a purposeful feature of an overall design.
@Prizm44

haha yes.. RGBs are for people who want to live in 2005 with their big-ass Transformers-looking PC tower. Even mini-ITX is outdated and I hate needing a separate case just to have a decent gaming PC. The only thing keeping us in the PC dark ages is the god damn size of GPUs. All I want is a sleek all-in-one with a high end GPU.

I disagree. Only having one or two PCI slots is very limiting for expansion, and for the most part chains secondary features to what's already on the board, and what you can add externally (which is messy and sucks). I'd prefer a shift towards micro-ATX for the small form factor market, as well as these super-space-efficiency design elements being applied to full ATX enclosures, too.

mod the case to add some usb ports, make the hole by drilling lots of small holes and a small dermal die grind tool to enlarge them, then some hand filing to finish it off. Aluminium is soft and easy to work with. I reckon you could also get use the massive cavities above or below the case to fit a dongle and mod it to fit the internal usb header and stick it in there with some strong 3M tape. Some dongles are alumiuim which will almost look factory.

Damn, The Verge was right you actually DO need an Allen Key in order to build a PC! Who knew? Seriously though, jokes aside this is a classy and fantastic looking PC case. I definitely like the clean asthetics and polished look to it. A nice break from the RGB aggressive gamer trend. So far I think it is one of the best cases if not the best case looks wise to suit your desktop set up. It jut matches perfectly. Clearly Streacom need a new revision of this case though I am glad to see an ATX case that finally tackles the need for a 240mm rad. So many ITX enclosures shy away from this feature instead offering low profile CPU coolers. It's nice to see how modular this chassis is and I hope they release a new version fixing some of the issues you mentioned with front I/O. I don't have USB C but that could be easily solved if they simply made a hole in the front of the case and then released different front I/O brackets you could buy for a fiver or something to suit your personal build. That would be a clean simple solution to this problem. Then they wouldn't need to manufacture an entire new case just different I/O brackets to suit different builds (e.g. USB C or USB). Also an idea for a future video about ITX cases is to look at HDPlex power supplies. They are a kind of pico power supply rated at up to 400 watts that uses a Dell 330 watt laptop charger or similar. It's been proven that even a GTX 1080Ti would work on a 400 watt PSU with an i7 though maybe not overclocked. But for anything less then that like a GTX 1080 a 400 watt would be fine. Perfect for GTX 1060-1070 mini ITX systems that doesn't have enough space for a full ATX or even SFX PSU. Great review though and I was just hoping for another ITX case. I will definitely consider buying this one if they release a revised version of it. Keep up the good work! :)

I thought that with the problem concerning the whole space for a 280 rad vs the ssds a simple fix, albeit a specific problem, would be to have a mobo with one or more m.2 slots. Most reviewers offer really good points, including your good self, on how case manufactures are so often missing the mark. So here's my idea for you of what is becoming more important for me. Who cares? Other companies have product solutions that kick ass! Who wants fans with the case, right? So, who cares for missing tie-offs? What I mean is that I think we can me made to look at these short-comings as positives. Totally, right? So it's something to consider. You are definitely known for you classiness. That is a seriously beautiful case! But you know, screws are usually not magnetic. In fact, i don't think i've ever seen a magnetic screw. :) The bit/screwdriver is the part that is usually magnetized. And if yours is not, you can easily make it magnetic, by running a magnet along the length of the bit/screwdriver for a few seconds. The more powerful the magnet, the better. :) Though, if the screws are made of stainless steel, which is rare, they won't react to a magnetic screwdriver. Maybe that is what is happening here?

I have no intention of overclocking so I don't know if the 9900k offers anything over the 9900. The build will be all hi-end 750w Corsair SFX power and an EVGA 2080 ti. Probably the black 2 slot one since it's compact. The goal is to keep noise to a minimum. I'm wondering if i'd be better off with an x52 Kraken and a 92mm rear exhaust fan instead of the x62 which I believe prevents you from installing a rear exhaust fan. Is that true? Even though the x52 is technically louder than the x62 since I'm not overclocking I figure it will run quiet enough and the rear fan will help dispel 2080 ti heat from the case. All and all my question is simply, for my purposes of noise optimization with no over clocking would I be better off with an X52 and a rear exhaust fan or an x62?

I really like the idea of the rails and universal brackets, it's a nice design. For a portable system this looks pretty good, as good as a DAN 2 or Ncase M1. For my main system ITX just isn't for me, I'm not space constrained and ITX motherboards just don't compare to the flexibility of ATX. Not even PCI slots as I only use 1 GPU as well but more RAM, bigger and better VRM's and a lot more ports and headers of all kinds.

Great video as usual , i advice you for seasonic focus plus series powerful and i think its the smallest atx psu 140x150 mm that can be used for almost any pc build from mini to full size cases , i have the 850 model which more than enough for my build

Great review, but please, let rgb die already. It should be optional, but some companies make products that focus on "dank rgb experience " instead of making a more well engineered product

Reminds me of the days of the old Powermac G5s, except smaller. I really like that look. As much as I love it, the price is still a deterrent, though. We really need better ITX adoption.

This looks so much like how a small Mac Pro could look. So sleek! (And much better than the "Trashcan Pro")
