Thank brother. It made a big difference too even with editing. Just being able to have a super smooth mouse is amazing. I wish all mice came with glass skates. I never have tried them before and now I’m glad I did

u shouldn't use glass skates on glass as it will damage the glass mouse pad look for ptfe feets like tiger ice or corepads or many other options !

So are these universal or you have to get for certain brand
@cppctek

They make mouse skates for various brands and models that are all custom fit for that specific model. The kit I got fits the g502 x for example

Hey man off topic question, but I figured it might have a better chance of getting seen. If I only use steam on my ally, can I uninstall ALL the "xbox" related apps? I'm not financially set to expand my memory so I'm stuck constantly cleaning things out

You can but that’s not gunna make an impact on fps.

Are you still running a 512gb ssd? Why not grab a 1 or 2tb drive? I saw a 2tb on sale the other day for like 80$ and it’s super easy to swap them out. Deleting Xbox game pass and Xbox apps won’t save much space. Likely about 300mb or so if that. Try running a program called glary utilities and do a scan and see how much junk files it finds. That can delete a lot of old temporary files and clean it up if you need to reclaim some space. Also you can use revo uninstaller to uninstall a lot of stuff and see how much stuff is taking up

does it void your warranty
@cppctek
Ай бұрын
From what users I’ve seen who had to rma a mouse with replacement feet said no. It would be like a car manufacture voiding your warranty because you went with a different brand tire on your wheel. They legally can’t void it unless you caused damage to the device that was the root cause of its failure. The magnasun warranty act I believe is what it’s called that protects you.

Did they slow down after some use? or it stayed consistent?

It’s glass so it’s hard as a rock and isn’t going to wear down or change in any way shape or form like stock mouse skates. Unless you’re playing on legitimate sandpaper lol 😂 if you’re playing on any mouse pad or desk mat, the glass is hard, it’s really really for real deal glass like drinking glass, glass. Not fake glass. So it will never change

@@cppctekthe oleophobic coating on glass skates does eventually wear out from constant use. Glass skates aren’t the end all solution, they eventually start to drag too. Once the coating wears down any built up oils and sweat on your mouse pads (which is unavoidable) will mean you will have to replace the glass skates. It’s a problem with absolutely every company that makes glass skates and none of them warranty them once it happens.

Interesting thanks for the info. I’d imagine the glass skates will last me at least way longer the. Stock skates. I never had any stock skates last more than a few months before they started peeling or getting stuck or making noise. Also wheat if you just cleaned the glass skates with alcohol or some gentle solution every so often to not get oils on them ? Worst case scenario I could just re polish the glass skates and add a few drops of ceramic coating over them. I can easily refurbish glass surfaces with ease but you can’t re finish stock stuff

@@cppctek alcohol breaks down coatings too that’s why monitor and eyeglass companies tell you not to use alcohol based products to clean them. I don’t think polishing them would do anything beneficial because they are aluminosilicate. If you want regular PTFE skates to last longer a better solution would be a glass mousepad. (Not a glass infused one but an actual glass one) Just don’t go using glass skates on a glass mousepad cuz that won’t work.

Huh? Bro it’s a watch … I hate it making noise on my arm sometimes when I take stuff apart and I sit it there. If you have a problem with my watch … that’s some next level weird stuff dude. None of that was placed that way for a reason. I slide crap out the way and work on stuff. Go touch grass

why not get a better mouse. the g502 is dated and heavy. get a lightweight mouse
@cppctek
Ай бұрын
It’s not that old. It released not even 2 years ago but even then, not much changed with mouse technology since then. Weight means nothing to me. what means everything to me is comfort and layout and how well it fits and feels in my hands. I’ve got arthritis pretty bad and most mice feel terrible to me. Also the free spin scroll wheel is a huge Logitech thing no one else can do this well. The side buttons feel perfectly placed and I’ve had a ton of other mice I’ve tried and constantly keeping an eye out but really this mouse besides weight is perfect in every way for me. It’s an amazing mouse and swapping to glass skates made it feel better than new. I don’t game on mouse and keyboard that often too so weights even less of an issue. To be honest I don’t like super light weight mice because when I’m editing videos with too light weight of a mouse i make more mistakes and it’s hard to control the cursor when my hands are acting up.
