Hello, thanks for the great videos I've been a fan of Saddle Hunting for a year and just ordered a Saddle Kid from "Aero Hunter Kestrel Flex Kit" from USA. The Saddle hunting is absolutely unknown in Europe and my bow hunter friends are looking forward to seeing and trying this ! Sorry my English is unfortunately not so good! I live in the mountains of Austria / Tyrol / Zillertal and have been a Bowhunter for over 25 years ! Thank you for your videos and love greetings from Tyrol Didi

One way to avoid that noise is to toe hook and push down. The method he showed about pushing down with your hand is good to pre set the Predator. However, if you will put one foot on the top bar and use the other foot to lift up this will tighten the platform so that when you push it back down it bites hard with no sound.
@prec8080

I noticed that too. Not sure what's up with it as my Tethrd Predator platform never creaks or makes noises. What I do have sometimes is when my boot tread slips or something and makes a popping noise.

Yeah - The shotgun mic on the camera was unfortunately close to the microphone, and was picking up some cracking/popping from gravel in my shoes. Not how it sounds when hunting!

No, thank god it isn't!! I had some gravel stuck in the bottom of my shoes in this video, and the microphone location was right next to the platform, making it pick up any noise from my shoes. Definitely a poor representation of the platform!

Everyone has something that they might use differently - that's part of what makes saddle hunting so cool! I loved the ability to walk around the tree with a ROS, but they hurt the hell out of my feet very quickly on a hunt. The platform is much easier for me - especially the XL version now offered as it allows me to create good angles for shooting without much movement. The webbing around the tree and the hook came from Tethrd. It's the "HYS" strap (Hang Yo Stuff)

Your stand was making ALOT of noise. If you ever want to hunt put of a stand that is All day comfortable the JX3 is by far the best I've ever used and this is coming from a professional tree climber from the past. Im now a deer and bear guide and when it comes to all day Michigan and Ohio Rut sits the jx3 is the only stand that doesn't hurt after an hour or 2. I've tried them all.

Yeah, there was some noise there. I had some gravel in my tennis shoes that was grinding on the platform and popping off the middle - not good for audio on a video for sure, but I'd never hunt like that. I'm curious, have you tried the Tethrd Phantom? I hunt anywhere from 200 - 250 days a year - anywhere from 4 - 12 hour sits. I definitely don't have any issue finding comfort!
