Yes the longer video is more interesting! Great tip about the ground anchors I will look into those. Would like to see more variety of different camps not just the usual massive family tents and not just all outwell gear. I haven’t dared do any family camping since my little one was born so tips for camping with under 2 yr olds if you have any?

We have been camping with the kids since they where very little, big recommendation is a hot water bottle, whack that into what ever they will be sleeping so it’s nice a warm, and won’t wake up (I got everyone their own so as a pre bed routine I will be having the gas burner and the kettle being run for a good 40 minutes before bedtime). A waterproof onesie type thing so they can roll about the grass in the morning and not get their PJ soaking. And have fun, my two love it

We also used one of these air beds with raised sides to stop them rolling about (but it does take up a bit a space) www.getoutwiththekids.co.uk/reviews/kampa-airlock-junior-airbed-review And insulate well underneath it. Insulated picnic rugs (with the foil lining) a great for keeping your tent bedroom cosy.

Yes, longer videos are great! Very enjoyable- I loved how you kept things “real” when you walked up that steep section. I would love to see more info on how you set up and pack as well. Sounds boring I’m sure, but the first video of yours I saw was one where you put up a tarp with two piles and it was so instructional! I would have enjoyed seeing you set up this camp, especially since you were on your own.

Rain & camping is something....but if you have the gear & space you need it can be really god experince! But you need the gear to stay dry, thats for sure! If its possible with a 50 gbp and a tarp its trully a fantastic experince! I use 3 p Hillberg tent in those condition. Thats not close to 50 gbp ,moore like 500 gbp tent. Best Regards Peter Eriksson Sweden 😮
