I've been to that part of Wales a few times. Stunning scenery but I wouldn't be keen on shredding my SUV tyres on some of those lanes. As ever your videos are excellent. Neither of you were tempted to do a bit of wild swimming..??!!

Legend 🙌🏼 thanks for the support Dan. Lucky for us the vehicle was a loan from Land Rover for the trip so we wanted to put it through its paces 😉 We definitely wanted to do some wild swimming, however a tight schedule and wild weather deterred us this time 😅

Interesting, but since I’m from Wales I found this kind of boring - there’s a lot more scenic and challenging routes. The narrative is also hard to understand at times.

Hey how did you managed to the drone shoot on claerwine reservoir ,is there any road heading to there
@cjexplores

Hi there, yes there was a road up the hill but it was a little bumpy. Suited for 4WD vehicles with a little bit of height clearance ☺️

There is a road up to the top of the dam and across. Any car can make it. You don’t need a 4X4. Going beyond the gate over the other side you do. But I wouldn’t advise it as that’s not a bypass or green lane !!!

Great video! Stunning scenery, all very nicely shot and chopped. Did you know?... All castle towers the stairs go clock-wise. This is because most people are righthanded and if you are defending the tower you then have room to swing a sword. But if you're attacking your sword arm is on the inside and it's very difficult to swing. ALSO! You may have noticed that the steps in a castle tower are very uneven. This is by-design. If you live in the castle and have to use the steps regularly you soon learn the pattern of the stairs, big and small steps. This again gives the advantage to defenders (pardon the Land Rover pun) who know the stairs well against attackers who would be unfamiliar with them. In a battle with screaming, shouting, smoke and poorly fitting helmets this was a significant disadvantage. Maybe head over to the Isle of Man next. It equals the beauty of Wales, if not the scale.

I find this incredibly interesting! What a fascinating way to look at building design 😳 Thanks for all the info 🙏🏼 and yes Isle of Man is on our list. Our good friend just came back from the TT a few weeks ago and showed us some great pics!

When doing the green mains was there a one way system or two way looks very tight to non to get past people
@cjexplores
Жыл бұрын
I didn’t see anything about a one way system when we were there, and we did have to reverse at one time but there were some sections where you could pull in to let others pass 😁

Ah, lovely Porthmadog. We visited there 2 years ago, when we were based at Llanbedrog. If you get the chance, do the coastal walk along the Llyn Peninsula from Pwllheli through Llanbedrog to Abersoch .. gorgeous beaches there. Thanks for sharing guys, loved it! ❤️👍🏻

If Land Rover came to you and said take our latest vehicle out on a week long trip through Wales but you have to make a video about it, what would you say? 🤣
