There are some sick setups in this guide! I really enjoy the breakdown of the uses of every single move too, this is so useful to aspiring Zelda mains. My Ultimate triumvirate consists of Peach, Palutena, and Zelda. I played Peach and Palutena in past Smash games, but picked Zelda up this game cause she's so much fun. My results with her are already on par with my higher tier picks but keeping these tips in mind might catapult her to an even higher place. NICE guide, I'll be referring to it for some time to come

Thank you very much for making this guide, as I simply love her entire mooveset even more. First time I tried her out, I knew I found my main. Zelda is the character I put the most effort on and this video is the most helpful tool I could have imagined. I am sure gonna spend a lot of time trying those combo and advanced tactics. When I will win my first tournament, you will surely be the first one I will be thanking. There is one more thing you didn’t talked about: She have the best taunt in the entire game, as the down taunt. She actually laugh at your opponent, saying goodbye. This can be a very strong kill combo finisher, like a Fantom into ragequit. However, be careful to not get TTGB (Taunt To Get Bodied). Her others taunt sure decent, but shouldn’t be used as Mitch as her down taunt. She also have a decent T-bag.

Playing Zelda for me is fun because landing those b-airs can be so hard, but your defensive options give you many tries to land it. Just got around to watching this, great job on the video! You covered most of the basics and properties of her tools, so it's truely the ultimate guide. 👌 If you ever think of doing a sequel, maybe you can go more in depth on your strategy when competing in certain matchups and ideas you think Zeldas should do or explore. A lot of people also have difficulty developing good zoner fundamentals or figuring out their best gameplan against certain playstyles, so a guide like that could take them to the next level or at least provide some helpful insight. 👀
@Raykushi
5 жыл бұрын
Shanoa I thought about that but it’s very complex to go over since all the matchups are so different and doing it here would have made the video way too long. I’m doing analysis videos of Zelda players actually as a way of showing how I think Zelda players ought to behave mid match. Did one of Mysterica vs Dark Wizzy I think you’ll find what you’re looking for there :p

@@Raykushi you did a great job at that, really. Thanks for that. But really the best part is that it's not a video of you just talking over things you're doing in training mode like a lot of the "guides" I've seen, this a lot more structured and well illustrated. It's very enjoyable just to watch. 👍

@@Hakkuden Ah, I know EXACTLY what and maybe who you're referring to, hehe. Videos of this style are lengthy to make. I don't have the best editing software so it took me about a month to make, maybe a bit more. Top players who are mostly interested in giving general quick advice for a character do not have the time nor energy to commit to a high production value. A training room video would have been easier to make, but it also would have been a longer video and I probably would have missed a lot without notes or a script. In order to do the guide justice I knew I had to do it this way lol I think there is some value to those videos you mentioned though. Someone like Jtails does very beginner friendly guides, and sprinkles occasional intermediate tech for the character for someone starting out with the character to wet their appetite for, and those videos are important for people who might be easily overwhelmed by too much information when starting out so they aren't intimidated out of trying a character out. And then there are videos like this which cover pretty much every advanced tech under the sun. Actually part of the reason I made a video like this is because I'm the pioneer behind a lot of what's featured here and I wanted to showcase it because I hadn't seen other Zelda players using it. I'm like you though, I prefer these longer form videos.

@@Raykushi There's obviously value in these kind of guides, I won't go as far as saying they're bad or anything. Sorry if that's what it looked like I was implying. I just tend to not like them. Sometimes it feels like what is displayed and what the person says is not related so it's hard to follow. English not being my native language makes it even harder... Then again if the video only deals with a few specific techs or something, or if the video is short enough then I wouldn't have any problem I think. But otherwise I just give up lol. Anyway all of this is just my opinion anyway so ☺
