Thanks Paul, was looking for a 'heavy up an over' for long range beach tope fishing at Rossall. With the Trident hangover you can't get a snood line thicker than 60lb to sit in it, so this is a brilliant alternative. Will prob use with a solo clip as I fish with a fixed spool. Good luck with the MSSA! Rich (Mersey Motley Crew).

I like the Cascade modification but why not use a Trident Hangover ? which could be less prone to pick up weed ?
@StarfishSeaFishing

the cascade was out well before the hangover clip it is a good set up but i feel the cascade is much better and much easier to hook up the hangover clip if it was A tad wider and deeper it would be greatly improved.

adjust the spool tension a tad tighter and use the red brake blocks and add some yellow rocket fuel oil there not the best casters in the world but there a very good work horse and are the best for rough ground fishing
