Excellent definition and well explained, and so commensurate my own journey with this Science of Philosophy, more so to define ones own self understanding & place within this vast spectrum of knowledge is the beginning of the true philosophical journey. In other words, The flow of progress and discovery can not be conditioned so as the self. It is like unconditioning of the conditioned self which indulges into a point of certainty or a concept or a concrete belief or idea, like an absolute conclusion. It's a state of being which liberates oneself from this conditioned confinements of known knowledge and helps us to wonder once again. As Sir Russell said- "Nothing is Certain" It's fascinating how this speculation is almost exactly what Zen tries to tell us. A mind which is fluid and lucid, not confined by any matter could grasp anything.

Insofar as to eliminate the misunderstandings between the east and the west, I believe. The apparent smallness of the modern world remains, in my opinion, just that: apparent, an intercontinental philosophy, if you will, is to be hoped for. Should there be such an individual or group willing to undertake this colossal project, it would be preferable that the project in question be devoid of any negative connotations or aspects that undermine the integrity of any nation/culture or belittle it, while still being critical, the work should promote unity instead of egalitarianism.

Russell bores, don't bother - go straight to Wittgenstein and skip the fluff.
