Thanks for the prjct=prtmn shoutout Jan! These videos are great and super nostalgic. I did some random prtmn stuff inconsistently over the years and I’m thinking of doing it again in another form.

I remember receiving America’s Army in the mail with the transit shirt featuring a quad roller skate. That design would actually be pretty trendy today if I hadn’t worn it to hell and back. I’d buy another lol.

Awesome! That is super cool. Yea that shirt would be a hit today. I wonder if I can find the graphic somewhere.

@@JanWelch i dug the minimal aesthetic though im guessing back then that it was much more expensive to have screen printing done in multiple colors. If you happen to come across the design, use that artistic mind of yours and test out some color patterns. Funny how things go out of style and then 10-20 years later it is the bee’s knees again

Thank you so much for making these, Jan. Being a San Diego native who sadly missed this era of the rollerblading scene, its absolutely refreshing for me to see some of the spots being dominated by some of the greatest in blading. I look at these spots with so much more appreciation for the history and thankful to be able to witness the moment from your perspective. Much respect for all of the hard work then, and now!! 😅
